Right now my best friend is dragging me to the DX so she can flirt with Sodapop. He's a cute kid and everything but I don't see what's so great about him. Literally all the girls like him. When we got to the DX there were already a bunch of girls there. Oh fun. I stood with her for about ten minutes around Soda before finally walking away. I decided to look around the store. I walked into the garage and saw some kid under the car. He rolled out from under the car to grab a different tool. He had some grease on his face and his shirt was unbuttoned. He's cute. I looked around the garage some more when I heard him talk.

"Can I help you?" I looked over and saw him smile at me.

"No. I'm just looking around." I said. "My friend drug me here so she could flirt with Sodapop." I rolled my eyes.

"You not interested in him."

"No."

"Well. If you want you can keep me some company."

"Okay." I smiled and sat on the counter. "Who knows how long she'll be." He laughed.

"What's your name?"

"(Y/n)."

"Well (Y/n) I'm Steve." I smiled and he rolled back under the car. We talked for I don't know how long. I really like him. He rolled out from under the car every now and then to grab a different tool or something. Once he was finally done he grabbed a coke and sat down beside me. He had grease all over his face and I started laughing. "What?"

"You have grease all over your face." I laughed again.

"Oh really?" He wiped some off with his hand.

"Yeah." as soon as I replied he smeared it all over my face. "You did not just do that."

"Actually. I did." he laughed. After that we started chasing each other rubbing grease all over each other. We stopped when we heard a cough. I turned and saw my friend.

"Oh. Hey Jen."

"We're leaving." She smiled. "Get that grease off of you."

"See ya Steve." I laughed and ran into the bathroom to wash all of the grease off.

**Steves POV**

I watched (Y/n) climb into her friends car and drive off. Right before they pulled out she stuck her head out the window and blew me a kiss. I smile and pretend to catch it. She laughed and got back in the car.

"Who was that?" Soda smirked.

"A girl." I responded vaguely.

"Who was this girl?"

"Her name was (Y/n)." I replied and sat on the stool behind the counter. "Did you meet any girls you liked today?"

"No!" I laughed.

"What about (Y/n)s friend Jen?"

"She was okay." He shrugged. ""Why was that girl back there with you anyways?"

"Well her friend drug her here so she could flirt with you and she didn't wanna come so she decided to keep me company instead."

"She didn't wanna flirt with me?!" Soda fake gasped.

"Apparently not." I laughed. "I really liked her though."

"Well I think she liked you too." Soda grabbed something off the counter in the garage. "It's got her number on it." Soda wiggled the paper.

"Give it to me."

"No."

"Soda."

"Nope." He was closing everything as he spoke. As soon as we got outside he ran for it. I ran after him and tackled him once I got close enough. "Fine! Take the note!" I grabbed it and put it in my pocket.

I'm definitely going to be calling this girl.
