Two-Bit

"(Y/n)!" My best friend Two-Bit ran into the house.

"What?" I asked as I fix a bowl of cereal.

"Let's go to the Curtis'!" He yelled.

"Let me eat. Then I have to get dressed." I sat down on the couch to eat and he groaned.

"But you're gonna take forever!"

"The more you rush me the longer I'll take."

"Whatever." He sat down and turned the TV on. Just to make him mad I took ten minutes to eat and thirty to get ready. "I hate you." He said as I put on my make up.

"You know you love me." I kissed his cheek. We started walking to the Curtis'. He made fun of anything possible while I laughed extremely loud. People stared but we didn't care. They should be used to it by now.

"Hey guys." Darry looks up as we walk in.

"Hey." We say at the same time. Two-Bit sits down and turns on the TV while I steal one of Ponys books to read.

"I don't know how you two are best friends. You have nothing in common." Soda laughed.

"Opposites attract." I wink. I layed my head on Two-Bits lap and began reading. After about ten minutes Pony woke up and came out of his room.

"Which book did you take?" He didn't even look at me. He's good.

"Touching Spirit Bear." (This is a good book. I highly suggest it.) I sighed.

"Haven't you read that like three times?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah. But it's my favorite!"

"I don't how you can read a book more than once. I can barely read a book the first time." Two-Bit laughed. I rolled my eyes and continued reading. After a while the gang decided to go play football in the lot. I stayed behind because I'm absolutely awful at football. I read for a while then I slowly started drifting to sleep.

**Two-Bits POV**

We walked back into the house laughing at how Steve tripped on the steps when I saw (Y/n) asleep on the couch with the book open on the floor. We all sat down and I lifted (Y/n)s head and put it in my lap careful not to wake her. Darry came in and handed bottles of water to everyone.

"When're you gonna ask her out?" Dally asked and everyone looked at me.

"What do ya mean?" I asked.

"You like her don't ya?" Dally asked. I ignored the question and turned my attention to the TV. "Come on. We all know you like her."

"Fine." I sighed. "I like her."

"Was it that hard to admit?" Soda laughed. (Y/n) stirred and buried her head into my stomach. I lightly played with her hair and rolled my eyes.

"I'm not gonna ask her out. She don't like me like that." Darry was about to say somethin' when (Y/n) spoke up.

"Who don't like you like that?"

**Your POV**

"Who don't like you like that?" I asked not moving. The whole room went silent. "Anyone gonna answer me?" I sat up and stretched.

"It's nobody." Two-Bit gave me a reassuring smile.

"Oh my God! He likes you! Okay!" Steve groaned. Two-Bits face turned red and everyone stared at me. "Do you like him?"

"I dunno. I never really thought about it." I shrugged and layed back down. After about five minutes of silence I decided. "I think so yeah."

"Really?" Two asked hopefully.

"Yeah." I smiled and picked up my book and layed in his lap.

"Wanna be my girl."

"Yeah." I smiled bigger than before. If that's even possible. Two-Bit pulled me into is lap and kissed my cheek. He watched TV and I read my book.
