I stood in my closet, throwing clothes on the bed. Today my wonderful boyfriend, Two-Bit, is going to introduce me to his gang. My best friend is sitting on the floor helping, well she's eating. I wouldn't say helping is the right word.
"What about this?" I asked while holding up a pair of skinny jeans and and a plain t-shirt.
"That'll be fine." She told me through a mouthful of chips.
"You're not even paying attention!" I groaned as I fell onto my bed.
"Don't worry! You'll look good in anything you wear!" She assured me. I looked at the giant pile of clothes that I was laying on and wanted to die.
"They're gonna think I'm an idiot." I complained.
"Well they wouldn't be wrong." (Y/b/f/n) mumbled under her breath, causing me to smack her in the back of the head. Finally she git up and started helping me look through my clothes, but we were soon interupted by my bedroom door opening.
"Victoria." Two sighed when he saw me. "Why aren't you dressed?"
"I don't have anything to wear!" I complained as I wrapped my arms around him. He stared at the pile of clothes before walking over to it.
"Here." He said throwing me a tye-dye shirt with an alien on it and a pair of light denim shorts to go with it. He then grabbed a pair of black converse and set them on the bed.
"This is actually pretty cute." I said nodding in approval. I quickly threw mu clothes on and came back to find Two and (Y/b/f/n) talking.
"Why would you need to come?" Two asked her with furrowed brows.
"Moral support." She said in a serious tone.
"Are you sure it's not to flirt with the Dallas Winston?" I asked with a knowing smile.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She said with a playful glare. Eventually she convinced him to let her tag along with the promise of not stealing my attention away from him. A promise I know will be broken. We walked down the street with Twos arm around me and he was rambling about some party he went to the other night. Once we reached his gangs house I grew nervous and felt Two squeeze my hand in reassurance. We walked in to see six boys. Four in the living room and two in the kitchen.
"Hey guys, this is my girl, Victoria." He smiled at me proudly. "Victoria this is the guys." All of them greeted me and told me their name.
"What could you possibly see in Two-Bit?" A guy with a bird tattoo asked from the kitchen.
"That would be Steve. He's an idiot. Ignore him." He told me as I was about to respond. After that all the guys introduced themselves to my best friend. She immediately made her way to Dallas and turned on her 'charm'. Soon I felt all of my nerves fade away as I realized they weren't going to judge me and that they were a nice group of people. Two-Bit and I both sat in the floor watching cartoons and could hear the guys talking about us in the kitchen. My face turned pink and Two held a finger to his lips while stifling a laugh.
"They seem to really like each other." I heard Johnny speak.
"Trust me they do." (Y/b/f/n) spoke up. "He doesn't like to hang out with groups when with her because he's scared they'll steal her attention." She laughed. This time it was Twos turn to turn pink. I pinched his cheek and he quickly swatted my hand away.
"That don't surprise me at all." Soda chuckled.
"Yeah, I think she may be the one for him." Dallas said. "Even though I thought he didn't have a one."
"I think so to Dally." Two said and we both turned around. The whole group and pink cheeks and we're trying to look away.
"But that last statement was very rude." I scolded. The gang then all found an excuse to go into any other room in the house. I smiled up at Two and knew that I had picked the right one.
