Darry and I are an off and on thing. Either I do something stupid or he works to much. We end up getting in a huge fight and breaking up. Right now we're in one of those fights.

"You're just an irresponsible kid! You're just as bad as Soda or Two-Bit!" Darry yelled at me.

"I'm not a kid! I just graduated!" I yelled back.

"You're a kid! And I don't need another kid running around this place!" I stared at him.

"Are you breaking up with me?" I already knew the answer though.

"What do you think?" I glared at him and then left the house making sure to slam the door. I can't believe him! I'm sorry that I actually like to have fun sometimes! All the guy does is work. Whatever. I don't need him any ways.

•one week later•

I've been absolutely miserable without Darry. He kept me grounded. I been getting in trouble quite a bit. And it's only been a week! I wonder if he's just as miserable? I didn't think I'd miss him this much. We've never been broken up this long. I don't know what to do.

**Darrys' POV**

"Just go see her!" Soda yelled at me.

"If she wanted to see me then she would come here."

"You two are about the most stubborn people uv ever met." Pony rolled his eyes as he came into the living room.

"About time you got out of bed." I ignored his statement.

"I bet she's just as miserable as you are." Pony said.

"Ya think?" I asked.

"Yeah. Now call her or something. I miss her." He mumbled the last part. I couldn't help but smile. Pony had a soft spot for her. Usually he doesn't care for any of our girlfriends but none of the other girlfriends stuck up for him like (Y/n) does. I walked over to the phone and called her.

"Hello?" I heard her say. She really hates talking on the phone.

"Hey hon."

"Darry? I didn't expect you to call?"

"Yeah I know. I really miss you."

"We can't keep fighting like that though." She pointed out.

"Then we'll think of somethin'." I said. "I don't think I could live without you."

"I'll be over soon." I smiled. "Anyone else miss me?"

"Yeah Ponyboy over here missed you quite a bit as well. Not as much as me though." (Y/n) laughed and then we said our goodbyes.

"She comin' over?" Soda sled with a smirk.

"Yep." I nodded.

"Told you so." Pony said. Once again I ignored his statement.
