Sitting to the couch in the living room, Sandra placed her hand to her semi growing belly to rub to take in very deep breathes to then smile has she felt her baby move just a little.
Sandra peered her eyes down to feel very happy with that.
She then turned her head to look at the side to groan, her phone alarm started to go off which ment she had to go to work.
Sandra then got up to wobble about a bit to then go outside to eye around. The day was so very hot and beautiful, she didn't really want to go to work, given she would have to work in the oven area where everything else was very hot.
Sandra then peered her eyes down to then place her hands to her stomach to rub about.
She started to get worried about her baby, even though she was to the second trimester, Sandra didn't want anything to happen to her baby and she was worrying about working in the heat.
Moving her head up a bit Sandra looked over the clouds to make a very stupid decision that would impact the rest of her life, however she was thinking of her baby not herself.
Sandra then turned to go to the front to place herself to the door frame to eye over Diego who was fixing one of his cars.
"Um.... Diego?"
He moved a part about to keep his head in the hood to then slowly look up to eye over Sandra.
"Yes?"
"So.... It's really hot today."
Diego nodded to then go back to fixing his car.
"Yeah it is."
"Well..... I'm worried about where I work and..... Being pregnant, given what happened last time."
"Uh huh...."
Sandra took in a deep breathe.
"Well..... Would you.... Be able to take care of me and the baby?"
Diego stopped working on his car to dart his eyes about to then move out of it to then eye over Sandra.
"Are you talking about quitting your job?"
Sandra nodded.
Diego looked over her to then eye the engine.
"That could work. I make enough to financially take care of the two of you, also you should be a stay at home mom like mine is."
"Are you.... Sure about that? I could just quit this job then after a year I can get another one."
"You don't need to do that. Also you would just be confusing the baby. Just quit your job. I got it "
Sandra made a worried face to take a step closer.
"Are you sure about this?"
Maybe I shouldn't have asked.
Diego shook his head to continue to work on the car.
"No, I think this would be perfect. Call and quit."
Sandra took in a deep breathe to keep eyeing over him to then turn to go inside to go to the couch to sit to the edge of the couch to hang his head to look down to make a hard face.
Should I really quit? This is really my only financial freedom.
Sandra signed has she felt the baby kick.
This is a hot summer and I don't want something to happen to you.
Sandra took in a very deep breathe to then grab her phone to dial the number to place to her ear to then eye about.
Sandra then was able to talk to her manager to quit with a bit of a face, she then let the phone go down to eye over it to take in a very deep breathe.
This is for the best. What happens if you get heat stroke or something worse and you could lose your baby.
Sandra gritted her teeth to then get up to go to the kitchen to make herself something to eat has she started to have regret with this decision.
A bit later, Sandra was outside to be walking about bare foot to have her hands to her stomach to be looking up at the sky to think about quitting with a face. She really didn't mind becoming a stay at home mom. Sandra wanted to spend every day with her baby but she didn't know what she was going to do for money and Diego never told Sandra how much he made and so she didn't know if this was a good idea or not.
Turning her head she looked to the side to see Diego come out to then sit in a chair to drink at a beer.
Sandra rolled her eyes to then look back at the sky.
"Did you get the car fixed?"
"Yeah. Think it'll run again."
"So Diego..... Are you sure you can financially take care of the baby and me?"
"Yeah. Don't stress. I got it."
"Are you really sure? Like I said, can take time off right now and then a bit after the baby I can get another job to help out."
"No. It'll be better if you just turn into a stay at home mom now. Don't worry."
Sandra made a face to keep looking up.
She couldn't help but to worry about this. Sandra however was still on her food assistance so that could help them, but they were trying to save up to be able to move in somewhere else and how were they going to do that since she now quit her job.
Sandra signed to then turn to walk to Diego to look him over.
"I think I should get another job now. Maybe in the office or something."
Diego shook his head to then look over Sandra.
"No..... You quit, it's the best for this family."
Sandra eyed over Diego.
"Are you sure? I just want to pull my weight in this relationship."
"You are."
Diego then looked to get stomach, Sandra watched that to then roll her eyes.
"Other then making the baby. I want to contribute."
"This is how you do it Sandra. Also....I was wanting you to make my lunches like my mother does."
Sandra looked over Diego a bit confused to then be pulled by him to go back into the kitchen not to know this was one of many mistakes she made.
