Has the year of 2017, to 2018 went about, sandras father's health started to decline, Sandra went over there often to vacuum his floors given he had 3 cats, made him food, given sometimes he forgot to eat, and just hung out with him, Sandra at one point had gotten him a home cleaner for them to do half a job, got paid and a tip from her father to then leave there stuff behind and to never come back.
Sandra with the help of her sister did these things for her father, however even doing these things, her father started to go to the hospital a lot, it broke Sandra and often, there was one time she went over there with her children, for her to then have an to call for an ambulance given he was not taking care of himself, this pained Sandra to no end.
After spending another day in the hospital with her father, Sandra started to talk to her sister's, they needed to really be there for him, they started to talk about a plan. So each one could go over every day to make sure he ate, did his grocery shopping, took him to appointments and cleaned his home, Sandras father did not want to go to a nursing home, given everything he had done for Sandra in her youth she was not going to allow that to happen.
One day in there home, Sandra was holding Sarah has she was passed out asleep to her chest after being breast fed, to be eyeing over Emily who was playing, she then turned her head to look over Diego who was laughing over something to the television to be eating his food.
Sandra took in a very deep breathe to be very brave.
"Um Diego?"
He nodded.
"So.... My dad is getting worse, since we have this duplex, I was wondering, could he move in with us? It would mean Emily and Sarah would have to have a bed in our room but...."
Diego made a face to shake his head.
"No. It's too small here."
"Diego, you take the kids to our bed every night when they start to get, even though I've been trying to do the ferber method. I really don't want something bad happening to my father."
Diego turned his head to look to Sandra.
"Yeah his place is a mess, I don't really want you to take the girls over there any more."
"Diego, my sister and I clean his house often. He does have 3 cats."
Two of those are mine given you won't let me have them.
Diego shook his head to then eye the television again.
"That's no excuse, you also don't vacuum correctly, remember what I did, I got all the cat hair up, your just lazy."
Sandra rolled her eyes to then look to Sarah who was still asleep.
"Diego, I did the same you did, it's cat hair on an old rug."
"Sandra, your father is not moving in with us."
Sandra looked to Diego who then got up to go to the bedroom, Sandra signed. After that Sandra tried and hard over and over with the help of what her therapist suggested on how to talk to Diego about this to get the same, the answer was no.
By the summer, Sandra was playing with the girls to then find out her father went to the hospital for a heart attack, texting her mother in law, Sandra dropped the girls with her to be to the hospital to be standing over her father has he slept to have tears coming down, she hated to see her father like this.
Eventually her sisters came about, they all stayed to discuss what would happen, unfortunately her one sister lived in a place to small, and she smoked cigarettes a lot, her other sister lived to far and her other way just growing a family, Sandra looked to her father who slept to place her hand over his to have a determined face given her sisters started to then talk about a nursing home.
After Sandra left her father, she was able to go home where Diego was already there, Sandra sat down next to him to take in a very deep breathe.
"My dad.... Had a heart attack."
Diego kept looking at the television to shrug.
"Sorry."
Sandras eyes narrowed to then eye about there place to take in a deep breathe, she knew what she needed to say for them to live with her father, she just didn't want to go that route.
Sandra then looked back to Diego.
"I know you don't like this duplex, my dad has money, if we all move in together, he could pay rent and pay for other things."
Sandra looked over Diego who made a face to to then turn his head to look over Sandra.
"Really?"
"Yes, he gets a pension and something from the state, he makes a lot of money, could help us get into a larger home."
"Okay, we can do that. But what else will you give me?"
Sandra made a very hard face to then get up to give Diego her body, she knew that would seal this also.
By the end of the week, sandras father was feeling a bit better, Sandra was to a chair to eye over him has he just came back from walking about to be eating his food.
Robert then moved his food down to eye over.
"I'm going to be discharged soon, I can't wait, want to go home."
Sandra cleared her throat to really eye over him..
"Well Dad, I talked to Diego, I don't want you to keep winding up in the hospital, I don't think you want that to."
Robert turned his head to eye over her.
*No I really don't. What did you two talk about?"
"I want you to come and live with us."
"Sandra, I really don't want to do that. You two are a couple and...."
"Dad, I can't lose you. Please, come live with us. Please."
Robert looked over to his daughter has she was almost in tears to sign to turn his head forward to laugh.
"Guess I have no other choice."
Sandra got up to then hug her father and hard to smile.
