a needed session

Has Sandra dropped off Emily with her boyfriend's mother, she was sitting to the office has Sandra was awaiting to talk to her therapist that she hadn't been able to see given she was always watching her daughter and Diego didn't do anything to help.
Looking up she saw her therapist who came about to smile to motion with his head for her to go with him to his room, Sandra instantly got up to follow up then sit down for them to eye the other.
"Well hello how have things been going?"
Sandra took in a deep breathe to shrug.
"Not all that good."
"Oh why?"
"Well it's been about a month since we last were about to see the other and......I feel so isolated and recently I tried to get a photo shoot going and it was a disaster."
"Oh how so?"
"Diego was more worried about the money, I found my friends who could do it for free, but that still wasn't enough. Then being there he acted all nice and that's how he is with other people but when it's just us in our home he is a whole different person. I just can't understand it.'
"Well, when we are in our comfort space we tend to act a bit different."
"I understand that however he acts really different. I had to find myself fake smiling and fake being happy to just get by."
"Why do you find yourself having to do that?"
Sandra made a face to peer her eyes down.
Should I tell my therapist about when I have sex with Diego and how it's so very uncomfortable and I don't really like it? Should I tell him I feel like Diego is like a stranger to me? He is changing into a person I don't know and can recognize?
"Sandra?"
Sandra looked up to sign.
"Just.... Things between Diego and I are just not always at there best, he treats me in a bad way, I tried to do what you suggested last month to talk to him about it and my feelings however he just doesn't want to hear it or he's always tired."
"Is there a time when he isn't tired?"
"Not really. He works very hard for my daughter and I but..... Every time I tell him to maybe look for another job he brings up he is on a work visa."
"He's on a work visa?"
Sandra made a hard face.
"Sandra, what is talked about here I don't repeat."
Sandra took in a deep breathe.
"Well, from what he told me, he came into this country illegally when he was a kid, come to be to his moms, and he went through the state to get a visa to be able to work here. I think he is afriad to try to get another job because of that which I can understand, but he is going to burn himself out also he is never there for Emily or I."
"That does bring on a stresser for him, good thing you are trying to get him to do another job, however if he doesn't try to go and do that on his own there really isn't anything you can do and it will just stress you out more and cause more friction between of you."
Sandra nodded with a face..
"I just want to go back to when we first met. Really back to the beginning before...."
"Before?"
"Well, two weeks into our relationship he told me he took a naked shower with his first wife has she was pregnant with another guys baby but he came to me that night, I forgave him but I think something more went on in there."
"I'm sorry to hear that, why did he do that?"
"He said he wanted to know if he had any more feelings for his first wife and he told me he didn't and that he wanted to move on with me. I still don't know why he had to do that to just see if he wanted to be with me or not, a bit.... Weird."
"Yeah that is a but weird, especially when she was pregnant with another man's baby."
"From what I also heard, she got pregnant when he was in jail because of his sister who let a 17 year old drive while intoxicated. I just don't know what he sees in her and why he did that when we were dating, it was only 2 weeks into it but still.... He also said she wanted him and she was going to abort the baby if he could give her another chance so I don't know."
"Your boyfriend sure has a colorful past. Believe we all do. Seems though you let him cross a few boundaries of yours, maybe you shouldn't have been so quick to forgive him?"
Sandra nodded.
"Maybe. I just feel so sorry for him and pity. He has told me about his childhood and it wasn't that great and...."
"Well no one has had a good childhood, it is what counts now has you are getting older. Is Diego in any form of counseling right now?"
"No. He doesn't really want to go and with how much he works I just don't know how he could. Think he needs it."
"So do I. Maybe that's something you need to discuss with him. However, you can't always fix the person but give them tools to be able to guide them. That is what he needs to do and so do you Sandra."
The two then turned there heads to hear has his alarm go off to then eye the other.
"Well, that is all we have in our session. One thing to take away today is give yourself patience and try to communicate when you can."
Sandra nodded to then get up for the other to give the other a smile for Sandra to go about to head to the front to make an appointment to go about to feel good about that session to then go to Diego's mother's house to play with Emily for Diego to eventually go there to have that good feeling to be erased has Diego had a bad day at work and made sure Sandra knew that.
