Has Sandra and Diego had to go to his immigration lawyer more, Sandra was being pressured more and more to having a wedding in the court house, Sandra didn't want that for a lot of reasons, Diego didn't seem to get it, his lawyer understood it, however even though he acted nice and like a gentleman in front of his lawyer, family and friends, he was just being so very cold and rude to Sandra about this every day.
They would get in very bad arguments, Sandra started to want to go to his mother's every weekend given she needed a break from the pressure and the yelling and belittling he did, Diego also kept blaming Sandra for the president election, saying all this was her fault because she didn't vote, Sandra was in a very hurtful world and in misery.
After a week of more yelling, Sandra by Saturday morning had everything packed for them to go over to his mother's, Sandra wanted to get out, she observed with Diego, he only was like this when they were alone together, not ever when they were around people, especially his mother, Diego treated Sandra like this in front of her mother when she came over to visit or help with the children given Diego was no help.
However when they were in front of her father, Diego never was mean to her, Sandra honestly could not understand.
Driving to his mother's Diego kept talking about things Sandra wished he would just be quiet about. Diego didn't really care about what Sandra wanted only what he wanted and he made Sandra feel very stupid and worthless and like this was really her fault.
Stopped at his mother's, Sandra almost bursted out of the car to then go gather her children, while Diego took a second to smoke, Diego had been smoking a lot more and drinking a lot more, he really had a problem, but did nothing to fix it. He also saw it has every one else's problem but his.
Going inside with the girls, Sandra looked about with a face, no one was there. Whimpering, Sandra started to have a panic attack, she didn't want to be left alone with Diego.
Sandra then placed the girls out of there seats to then sit down to start to play with them. Sandra didn't look when Diego came in, he went in to take off his shoes to then go straight to the kitchen without looking or talking to Sandra or his girls, Sandra didn't care. She wanted him to leave her alone.
Looking towards Emily who wanted her attention, Sandra gave a giant smile, this was the only real time she was ever truly happy, it was when she was with her kids and Diego would just go away. This was another big reason she was rethinking about getting married. Diego and her just had so many problems, he tried to fix them with sex, forcing her to smoke or drink when she didn't really want to, or with buying her things, they never really talked about anything and Diego wouldn't go to a therapist to fix anything. Sandra was at a loss of what she could do, things her therapist told her to do, she tried not nothing worked, the theripist and Sandra started to talk about sociopaths and narcissists, her therapist really believed Diego was one of those, and Sandra had no clue on how to fix that, or to be able to help Diego with it. Sandra tried to get Diego to see his own theripist or go to a drug rehab place, he just wouldn't go and blamed her and every one else for this.
Signing, Sandra looked over Emily has she thought about things with Diego to then smile again has Emily had gone to her sister who was in Sandras lap to start to gently play with her given Sarah was just a few months old.
These two..... Are my world.
Sandra couldn't help but to softly chuckle to then snap her head up to look towards the kitchen to hear Diego laugh out loud, Sandra rolled her eyes to then look back down to shrug. Everything was a competition to Diego, Sandra couldn't understand it.
Has the day started to pass, eventually Diegos mother came home with his sister and brother to then eventually his step father came home, they all ate a very good meal for Diego's mother to be on the floor to be playing with Sarah, Diego who was sitting on the couch to his phone moved over to go to sandeas ear.
"My friends are having a party, let's go."
Sandra moved her head back to then shake it.
"I'm fine."
Diego moved back to look over Sandra to then scoff, he got up to say something in Spanish to his mother to then go to his shoes to put on to then leave slamming the door, Diegos mother looked at him confused to then look to Sandra.
"What is going on?"
"Diego.... Wanted me to go and watch him fix a car, I really want to be with Sarah and Emily."
Diegos mother nodded to shrug to go back with playing with Sarah, Sandra looked down to move her spoon about the food with a face, she hated to lie, she hated even more she had to lie to Diego's mother.
His mother didn't know he drank heavily, didn't know he smoked and she didn't know how he treated Sandra. She was oblivious to a lot of things.
Sandra signed again to then eat slowly to be happy that Diego left, she didn't want to be around that anymore, she didn't really like to drink nor smoke, she was a home body and wanted to be with her children more, it drove Diego crazy which lead to more fighting and yelling, but Sandra would always chose her children over Diego Any day, Sandra then looked up to eye over Diegos mother to watch her play with her daughter with a smile, Sandra Loved this type of peace, however little did Sandra know Diego was going to win, and he didn't give a shit about what Sandra wanted at all.
