The Unfortunate Truth

 Ram called Priya for the 5th time in the morning while getting ready. But Priya was fast asleep. Ram smiled looking at his sleeping wife. 

After adjusting his cuff, he sat beside Priya. He leaned on to put a kiss on her head. Priya slowly opened her eyes with a smile. 

Ram- You are going to be late today. By the way, you have learnt ignoring the alarm like me. I'm impressed. 

Priya- I am not learning it. Don't be impressed. 

Priya replied while stretching her arms. Slowly her fingers found their way to Ram's hands, both of which were caging Priya. 

Ram- You are just denying it. You are learning it. You've snoozed the alarm for 5 times today.

Priya- That's because I'm exhausted.

Ram- From last night's activity?

Priya didn't reply but smiled coyly. Ram leaned forward and spoke into her ears. 

Ram- By the way, you were amazing last night. 

Priya- So were you.

Ram- What?? Did you just give me a compliment!! Woah!! That's new from my wife!

Priya- Don't tease me. 

Priya whined with a pout. Ram couldn't stop himself from kissing her cute pout. And Priya couldn't stop smiling. She smiled in the kiss which transmitted to Ram as well. With a smile she held Priya's hands and pulled her up to sit. 

Priya- What's the time? 

Ram- It's 8:30.

Priya- 8:30?? I'm going to be late. 

Ram- Hmm. Should I help? 

Priya- How can you help? 

Ram- I can dress you up. 

Ram spoke while tagging her kurti. Priya smiled and moved away from Ram. 

Priya- Nahi. 

Ram- Are you sure? 

Priya- Ha. Kabhi nahi.

Priya was about to get down from bed in a hurry. But Ram held her and pulled her closer. Priya giggled and so did Ram. Then he put another kiss on her lips. She melted into his arms. Ram touched her forehead with his. After breaking the hug, Ram spoke first. 

Ram- I have to go now. Let's have lunch together, Ok? 

Priya- Ok.

Ram- Do you have any place in mind? 

Priya- No. You can pick the place. 

Ram- Ok then. Let's meet at my favourite restaurant, ok? 

Priya- Ok. 

Ram- Goodbye then. 

Priya- Goodbye. 

They bade each other goodbye with a smile and started their day.

At lunchtime, Priya reached the place earlier. She was waiting for Ram. Suddenly Krish called her. Priya picked it up.

Priya- Hello 

Krish- Hello, Priya. Where are you? 

Priya- I am at a restaurant. Why do you ask? 

Krish- Actually, I found something big. I want to tell it to you first. 

Priya- Ok, tell me. 

Krish paused for a few moment.
