Before what we could call the Big Bang and the birth of the current worlds as we know it, there was Eternity and in this sense Eternity is defined as Existence before time itself. This existence was held within the initial Singularity of the Primordial Nyx, essentially the beginning of Time, Matter, Energy. And it is here that Mathias was created, he would be created by the hands of the children of Nyx which were Aether and Hemera. Allthere's need to be known about Mathias is that compared to other Empyreans, he's an Ancient One and could be a representation of the Primordial's growing discontent with just mere existence and unpredictability that force of Chaos was. Moving more towards order and creation so from birth Mathias knew both discontent and desire, you could say he was a product of it.

From his creation Mathias would exist among his Creators witnessing them Revel in creation, he would see the imprisonment of Armageddon, the Destruction of the Forever Wall, He witnessed the war against other Deities which finally led to Big Bang and the creation of multiple worlds. As the surving Deities were spread across these Universes, Mathias would stay by his Creators side. Showcasing a sense of attachment to them. Now Hemera and Aether tired of war and seeing some of their brethren fall to the Darkness of Destruction would create the Celestial Kingdom known as Krosmoz.

In this Kingdom all was tranquil and peaceful, perhaps the reason to create the Kingdom in this way would be their desired for Time Passed. A Time before Time. Mathias witnessed his creators work and the creation of the Angels which shared in his own likeness including Joachim, the First Seraphim.
