Thanks to 'TheNursery_Nurse_', who requested a MiaxAutumn story. But of course I am not able to write a normal story😅

Mia is the "Villain" in this story. Hope you're all like it😁

It was incomprehensible to Autumn that one event in a person's life could leave such a mark. But the night of her Prom was one thing she had carried with her ever since.

The fact that so much had changed since that day, that she had lost so much and had become the person she was today. But what was worse was that after that night, one person kept popping up. Using her and leaving her even more broken.

The first time it happened, she had just turned eighteen. After an argument with her father, she left the house in a hurry and went to a nearby pub. There, to her surprise, she bumped into them. Her brother's girlfriend, Mia. She was there alone and also seemed to be drinking her worries out of her head.

Autumn can't remember exactly how they got talking. It's still a mystery to her today that they did at all. After all, they weren't on good terms.

She also can't remember how much she had to drink or how they ended up kissing outside the pub. But there was one thing she still remembered very clearly.

How she lay in the back seat of Mia's car. How she held on to her. When Mia's one hand was on her neck and the other between her legs. At that moment, she was somewhat happy, but reality came that very night. When Mia threw her out of her car back home. Without a last kiss, or last words. And then they were strangers again.

The next time she saw the woman, Autumn had already moved out. She was twenty-one and faced with a dilemma. What she actually wanted to do in life now. Her father, who was paying for her flat, gave her an ultimatum. She had three months to either find a job or start studying.

Autumn had hardly any contact with her brother, but she heard from others, that Mia had split up with him and simply disappeared. Which is why she was even more shocked when she suddenly turned up at her door one evening.

Mia didn't look well, she had lost weight, had dark circles under her eyes and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Autumn still doesn't know why she let her in. Was it her own loneliness?

Mia got something to eat from her, was allowed to shower and Autumn also offered her her sofa for the night.

But it seemed the redhead was here for a different reason. It must have been her words, the compliments, the approach and finally the physical contact. What made Autumn weak.

So Mia did it again.

Autumn was under her again, in her own bed. And let everything happen to her. Autumn tried to convince herself, that now that Mia was separated, maybe they both had a chance. Maybe even a future.

But she was disappointed again. The next morning, Mia had disappeared without a trace. And a few weeks later she learnt that she was back together with her brother.

Years passed without Autumn hearing from her.

Autumn now worked as a secretary in a lawyer's office. She was now almost in her late twenties. Her life was monotonous. She didn't really have any relationships. She had a few dates. Or she was with the same person for a few months. But never anything serious, never anything long.

One evening, her boss organised a staff party in one of London's most expensive restaurants. And who of course worked there as a waitress. Her only weakness in life, Mia. And of course, unfortunately for her, she was serving her event.

Autumn didn't even know Mia worked there. So she just wanted to grab a quick bite and then leave. But fate had other plans for her.

Autumn had just come from the toilet, when a hand grabbed her and pulled her into a side room. There, in the storeroom, she was now face to face with the other woman.

She became weak again. What a humiliation to have her brother's girlfriend do it to her in a storeroom, just a few metres from her boss and her work colleague. This time, however, Autumn left without saying a word.

She left the party and resigned just a few days later.

Which brought her to today.
Now that she was working at her father's nursery.
Now that she had found a man who loved her and she loved him.
Now that she was back in contact with her brother and they were getting along again.

Who had to reappear, of course. Who got a job from her father. Mia.

Autumn tried to avoid her, but of course Marjorie had to start something with her brother.

It was only a matter of time before she turned up at her work. But Autumn had hoped that she wouldn't have to face her alone.

And now she was in the situation. A late evening. She was desperate to finish some work. And who turned up in her office.

"Mia..." she said.

The red-haired woman just closed the office door behind her.

"Hello Autumn. Long time no see. My God, how you've changed. You've become even prettier.....", she said.

Autumn stood up. This time it would be different. This time she wouldn't get weak. There was too much at stake.

"What do you want?", she asked in a dangerous tone.

Mia just smiled and stepped a little closer to her. "I just wanted to say hello."

"Mia, I know exactly what you want from me. But you're not getting it. I'm not who I used to be.",Autumn said. She build herself up in front of Mia, to appear strong.

"Oh wow, so daddy's little girl is all grown up now. But we both know for a fact that you just can't resist me." Mia put her hands down on the desk. She continued. "It's really tragic. I thought we were going to give it a serious try this time. But you have this man now. Winter, right? Is he as good as me?"

Autumn swallowed. She hated Mia's games.

She felt like she'd been transported back in time.

But something was different. She was different. And so Autumn realised that Mia didn't trigger the same thing in her as she had back then.

She approached the redhead. Mia straightened up expectantly.

Autumn was now so close to her that her lips were almost touching the other woman's lips.

But she grabbed Mia's chin with her hand. And now looked her straight in the eye.

"Oh Mia... if there was only one person in the world who really wanted or needed you..."

With these words, she left Mia standing there.
Finally, after all these years, she had torn herself away from her poison.
