" Your joking right?", Marjorie shouted.

She, Reece and Autumn were together in the manager's office. Marjorie had asked Reece if he could invite her to the Halloweenball. To her surprise, he couldn't.

"But Mia could invite some random lady. Then why can't you invite me?"

"I think at this point it's just pettiness from our father." Autumn said.

Reece nodded. " Yep. The Van Goulds backed out of an important deal with my dad last year. Cost him millions. He has a grudge against that family ever since."

Marjorie growled in frustration.

"But Gorgeous. I bought you a ticket."

The office door opened.

" Oh here you all hiding. Hi Reecey, Autumn....Marjorie."

Marjorie rolled her eyes. " Mia..."

The redhead grinned. " Oh Reecey did you buy your girlfriend a ticket? How sweet of you."

" Yes, he did! But at this point i no longer want to go!"

Autumn intervened. "You have to go if you ever want to be accepted by our father."

" And besides... Some drama happens every year," muttered Reece.

"Like what?" Marjorie asked, slightly annoyed.

"Well, we're pretty sure that Siobhan cheated on our father at the ball last year," said Autumn.

"What?"

Reece nodded. " She disappeared for an hour and came back clearly flustered. And the zip on her costume wasn't closed properly."

Marjorie made a disgusted face. " who would voluntarily do THAT with her? Yes, she's pretty, but her character couldn't be more disgusting."

The Knight siblings shrugged their shoulders.

Suddenly Marjorie noticed something, Mia was suspiciously quiet. She also ran her fingers through her hair and looked down at the floor. Mia was trying to act normal and seemed totally abnormal.

The manager suddenly realised something. The last time Mia and Siobhan had met, the redhead had made a strange remark.

"No way! Oh my God Mia!" exclaimed Marjorie.

She looked up like a deer in headlights. "What?"

"You and Siobhan? Are you serious right now!"

Reece and Autumn exchanged brief glances. Before they both grimaced.

" Uuuh really now Mia..." mumbled Reece.

"God, I'm going to be sick..." said Autumn.

"What?! Come on! She went as Catwoman, how am I supposed to resist?"

" That's no excuse!" Marjorie shouted. "But did you really...?"

Mia nodded and raised her hand with three fingers outstretched. " I was fingers deep in."

This statement brought another murmur from everyone in the room.

"Too much information," said Reece, narrowing his eyes.

"Well now the cat's out of the bag. So Marjorie you have to come this year too. Maybe someone will end up again in a cubbyhole." Mia winked and left the room.

"She really is the devil," said Marjorie.
