Roger was taking a sip of his coffee when his office door was flung open.

"Where is she?"

Reece stormed in and slammed the door behind him.

His father looked at him, unimpressed.
" Well this is going to be interesting. Where's who?"

Reece stood in front of the desk with his fists shaking. "Where's my sister!"

Roger shrugged, pressing a button on his desk phone in front of Reece's eyes.

" Security?! Are you serious!" shouted Reece.

"Well, if you're really brave, you'll stay until they're here."

"Fuck it, I'll find her myself!" he turned round.

Roger got up from his desk.
"Don't you want to know what happened to her?"

Reece stopped in his tracks.

"She cost me a really important deal. She knew the consequences."

Tears formed in the blond's eyes. " No..." he whispered.

The office door behind him opened.

Reece was thrown out of the building by security.

Night had fallen. Roger stood in front of his pool and looked into the calm water.

His daughter was now resting at the bottom of a lake. She had let him down once too often.

But slow footsteps approached him, he noticed a presence behind him and turned round.

"Autumn. Put the gun down."

His daughter stood in front of him. Still in the black dress from the night before. She looked drained. As if she had barely escaped death. And after all, she had.

Now she was standing in front of her father with his own revolver in her hand.

"Where have you been?" But Autumn didn't answer him, the gun still pointed at him. "Come on, let's go back inside the house and we'll talk." Roger tried to talk his way out of the situation.

He wanted to take a step towards them. But Autumn unlocked the gun.

"That's how you want to talk to me, huh? Bringing me shame has always given you pleasure."

Autumn finally spoke up."All my life, you've wanted me dead."

Roger raised his eyebrows. "Yes. But you refuse to die. I respect that. You've been fighting your whole life. I would never let them kill you. Is that what you want to hear? You wouldn't have drowned. You are a Knight. You're my daughter!"

Autumn took a small step closer.
"Did you do the same to my mother? She never left us, did she?"

Roger laughed. "She was a whore."

His daughter looked at him even more angrily now. "Say that word again..." she threatened.

Roger still didn't seem to realise the seriousness of the situation. He underestimated her, as he had done her whole life. "And what? You're going to kill your own father? No. You're my daughter. And now enough of this nonsense!"

Autumn looked away for a moment and shook her head. Before she pierced him with her gaze again. "I am your daughter and you wanted me dead. Because I defied you once? Why?"

"That's enough. We're going back to the house to talk to some decently!"

But Autumn remained standing. She kept her gun pointed at him. "I want an answer!"

"You sound like your mother. That whore..."

A bang sounded and Roger grabbed his thigh. He managed to stay on his feet. But the ground beneath him was slowly turning red.

He looked at her in rage." You shot me! You're no daughter of mine!"

"I am your daughter. I was always your daughter."

Another bang sounded.

With a gaping hole in his chest, Roger fell backwards into the water.

The water turned red.

Autumn simply turned and left.

She was finally free of him.
