Charlotte sighed, closing the door behind her. She had just left her children with their father for the weekend.

A slight feeling of resentment spread through her, when she brought her children to him, he was not alone.

He really wanted to introduce the girls to his new girlfriend. Jane.

Charlotte had already met her. She was nice. But Charlotte couldn't say any more about her yet.

She sat down in the living room. Her ex-husband had already managed to introduce her children to someone new, while she and Mia were still dancing around the subject.

But her girlfriend was constantly on the move and they had only been officially together for a few weeks.

Charlotte was always unsure whether Mia was really the future she wanted.

She wished she was here right now, but the redhead was on the other side of the world again.

Charlotte buried her face in her hands. She was in for a lonely weekend.

She was actually hungry and wanted to cook herself something, but she just didn't have the energy for it.

So she lay down on her couch, covered herself up and closed her eyes.

Charlotte was startled awake. It was already dark outside. She was sure she had just heard something.

Everything was dark and quiet. The brunette got up cautiously. And made her way into the corridor. A familiar smell caught her nose. But in her uncertainty, she couldn't place it.

The light was on in the kitchen. Strange,  had she forgotten to switch it off.

She entered the room, there was a plastic bag on the kitchen table and the smell of food had spread throughout the room.

Charlotte stood in the doorway, completely confused.

" Hey baby."

She was so startled that she almost fell to the floor. Mia was standing behind her.

"Mia, don't ever do that again!" Wait, what was she doing here? " Wait. Aren't you in Thailand?"

Mia smiled. "Oh, it was so boring there. At some point I didn't want to drink any more cocktails."

Charlotte threw her arms around her neck, tears forming in her eyes immediately.
" I missed you..."

" I missed you too, sweetheart..."

"Aren't you going to call it a day?" Winter raised his eyebrow.

Autumn had been sitting at her laptop at the kitchen table for two hours, writing reports.  She ignored him and continued typing.

Winter approached her and put his hands on her shoulders.

"My love, I know what day today is..."

He immediately noticed how her body tensed. "I'd rather work than think about it."

Winter pressed a kiss to the top of her head. He reached over her and closed the laptop. " Come my Love..."

Autumn was a strong-willed and stubborn woman, Winter was the only one who managed to stand up to her head.

"Ok..." she whispered and let him pull her along.

Reece was chopping the vegetables for their dinner. He hummed to himself. When her arms wrapped around him.

"Finished showering already?" he asked, turning around in her arms.

Marjorie's hair was still damp and she was only wearing a bathrobe. " Yes....," she laid her head on his chest. " I'm not hungry...."

" How can that be?"

Marjorie shrugged her shoulders. " I missed you... in the..." the last word she mumbled into his chest.

"Where did you miss me?"

" In the shower..."

Reece grinned, grabbing her waist and lifting her up. " We can make up for that now."
