The sport car came to a stop, the driver's door and passenger door were ripped open. Reece and Marjorie jumped out, both running up the driveway. Marjorie couldn't wait for Reece to finally unlock the door. The man's hand hadn't even lifted from the door handle, when Marjorie had already pushed past him.

She ran up the stairs, past the broken bathroom door, until she reached the bedroom, Reece close behind her.

There on the floor, knees drawn up, was Autumn.

Marjorie dropped down beside her, and immediately wrapped her arms around her. Reece stood rooted to the spot in the doorway. He had seen his sister cry many times before. But never so badly.

Autumn clung to Marjorie as if her life depended on it. Tears running down her face.

Reece hadn't believed it when Autumn called him and, between tears, told him what had happened. Now, when he saw her, he knew that the last trust she had in other people had been destroyed for good.

Some time later, in an abandoned warehouse, a woman stood leaning against the wall and let the cigarette smoke dance around her.

She waited for the other's to arrive. The game wasn't over yet, even if their best snitch had been exposed.

She saw the first car pull up, and Roger got out. He walked towards her with loud steps.

"Janice, is he here yet?" his voice serious.

"No, and neither is your other spy." Janice spoke calmly and took another drag.

Another car stopped in front of them and Winter got out.

Janice immediately saw Roger's posture become more tense. Winter approached the two of them with slow steps.

"It was only a matter of time before you failed. " Roger hissed.

" I'm sorry...."

Janice smiled slightly and put out her cigarette. "Luckily for you, we always have a back up plan."

The last car pulled up outside the warehouse, Winter recognised the car immediately.

The person got out and approached the group.

" It's all up to you now! I can't lose control of my money and my children."

The person ignored Winter, who just looked at them in disbelief. He had reckoned with everything, but not that anyone else was involved in Roger's machinations.

"Keep everyone under control! Especially Reece!" Roger said sternly.

Janice gave the person a warm smile, which seemed more like a threat in this situation. "And don't forget Mia, the last thing we need is a nosy redhead who likes to poke her nose into other people's business."

The person just nodded.

Emotions were running high in the Nursery, no one dared even speak Winter's name. The man had simply gone into hiding.

Marjorie and Autumn were in the office, even after repeated attempts by the manager, Autumn didn't want to stay at home. She wanted to distract herself. Alone at home, her thoughts would only become dark.

The two of them didn't speak. Marjorie blamed herself endlessly. She should have realised that Winter was playing a wrong game.

She looked at Autumn, the woman was typing on her computer. She looked completely exhausted. Deep circles under her eyes, she wore no make-up, and had a blank stare.

" Autumn... " Marjorie spoke carefully.

Without taking her eyes off the computer screen, Autumn nodded slightly.

"I'm sorry... I should have seen it."

"Marjorie don't blame yourself, he fooled me too."

Marjorie crossed her arms. "I can't believe it, yes Siobhan mentioned something about a spy. But I didn't take her seriously. It all makes sense now.... even though I wonder how he..." she interrupted herself. She didn't want to rub any more salt in the wound.

"What are you wondering?" Autumn said coldly. She buried her feelings, didn't want to show them.

"Never mind, let's talk about something else."

" No, what is it Marjorie."

Marjorie slid into her chair a little nervously. " When I met Janice, she knew so much about my past. I wonder how, that was stuff Winter couldn't have known. He wasn't working here at the time."

Now Autumm raised her eyes. Was there another person here who was leaking information to her father? Frustrated, Autumn looked up at the ceiling to gather her thoughts.

" Marjorie... after the fire last year... they installed fire alarms all over the Nursery, didn't they?"

Now Marjorie looked at her questioningly. "Yes, in all the rooms. Before that, there were only fire alarms here and in the kitchen."

Autumn stood up from her chair. She climbed on the desk and pulled the fire alarm down from the ceiling. Marjorie just watched her. What the hell was she doing?

Autumn threw the device onto the desk. It shattered into two pieces. Autumn searched for something between the pieces, she had a suspicion.

Marjorie watched her curiously. When the deputy manager held up a small round object.

"We're bugged!"
