It was a normal morning at the Knight Nursery. However, a small group had gathered in the conference room.

"So we have a little problem!" shouted Marjorie.

She had gathered Reece, Autumn, Mia and Charlotte together.

"And that would be?" asked the deputy manager.

"Siobhan was here a few weeks ago..."

Reece rolled his eyes.

"And mentioned something worrying. We have a spy in our ranks..."

There was a brief silence. Mia felt the gaze of the Knight siblings and also of Marjorie. "Hey, it's not me! Roger and I are finished!"

Charlotte reached for her hand. " Are you sure, Marjorie? Maybe Siobhan was just trying to cause trouble..."

But the manager shook her head. " Siobhan knew about the pregnancy..."

Autumn shifted uneasily in her chair. Great, so her father knew.

"Do you suspect anyone?" asked Reece.

"Unfortunately, yes. I have a bad feeling about Agatha..." Marjorie said.

Autumn looked at her questioningly. "Marjorie, I chose Agatha."

"Yes, I know that. But you said yourself that she's perfect for the job. In my opinion, she's too perfect. Maybe she was sent by Roger..." said the manager.

Reece scratched his chin. "She was there when Autumn and I talked about the..... pregnancy..."

"And she offered to talk to you now after your.... miscarriage..." Marjorie spoke softly.

But Autumn shook her head. "I'm sure it's not her."

"What about Eric? He's giving me bad vibes." Everyone looked at Mia.

" Babe, Eric is a seventeen-year-old boy. Please." Charlotte stroked Mia's hand.

"I was seventeen too when Roger started manipulating me."

But Reece intervened. "He's with me most of the time at the Nursery. I don't think it's him."

There was silence in the room again. But Charlotte suddenly spoke up. "Marjorie, what exactly did Siobhan say?"

"That Mia isn't Roger's only little spy. Why?"

" Am I the only one who finds it strange that Roger has always known about everything. It must be someone who has always worked here," said Charlotte.

But who, this question went through all their minds. Except Charlotte's, she didn't want to voice her thoughts.

"I think we're thinking too precisely. It doesn't have to be someone who works here," said Autumn.

"A parent?" Mia asked, puzzled.

Marjorie rubbed her eyes. Thousands of thoughts were running through her head. But suddenly a name crystallised.
" Summer...", she spoke quietly.

The others looked at her questioningly.

" Think about it. She started here with me and Char over ten years ago. I sacked her and she never forgave me for it. And her son now goes to our kindergarten!"

Charlotte exhaled loudly. "I bet she's in that parent What's App group too. That's how she knew about Autumn and Winter."

Marjorie slapped her hand against her forehead. " Damn it! I never changed my computer password. After I fired her."

"So she might have had access," Autumn said.

"That's bad. If she gets wind that we're going to vote Dad out as owner at the next board of directors meeting. We could be in trouble." , said Reece.
