Dying was always portrayed as something peaceful. A relief, some would say.

But the reality was different, dying was painful. No longer being in control of your senses. No longer being able to think clearly.

Siobhan had first fallen against the desk and then onto the hard floor. She was lying on her back. Every breath hurt.

A sea of red was slowly forming around her. The bullet had pierced her, entered her back, and flew out of her stomach before hitting the wall in front of her.

Roger approached her, looking down at her. The woman who laid before him, clinging desperately to life.

With a kick, he smashed the phone that was next to her, ending the call.

Siobhan could no longer sense his presence. All she could hear was her own heavy breathing, which sounded like she was drowning. Her gaze was fixed onto the ceiling.

Roger pointed the gun at her again. He wanted to end it.

There was uncertainty in the police station. Reece stood in the waiting area and waited. Something had happened. Marjorie was beside him, holding his hand tightly.

Autumn and Winter were sitting nearby, also waiting.

Mia had her arm around Charlotte, emotions were running high in the brunette, and silent tears were streaming down her face.

The door of the police station opened, and two policemen led Janice in handcuffs past the group. Not a second later, two more policemen arrived with Roger.

When Roger saw his children and employees, he gave them a dirty grin.

Siobhan was in a fog, no longer aware of things around her. It was better that way.

She didn't hear her ribs crack as the paramedic started CPR. She didn't realise how she was turned onto her side, so that she didn't choked on her blood.

Only as her mind slipped deeper and deeper into darkness did she become peaceful. Siobhan was never a fighter, and right now, she had no reason to continue clinging to her light.

She was standing on a precipice and was about to fall into the depths. When something held her back. A familiar presence, a hope that she had let into her life some time ago.

" Come on!"

Siobhan barely recognised the voice, the loud beeping around her drowned out almost everything. Another shock went through her body.

" Stay with me, Bon!"

Now Siobhan knew who was desperately working on her. Who was doing everything to pull her away from the abyss. She was a reason for Siobhan to continue fighting.

The weight of the world fell off Vivan's shoulder, when the monitor showed a heart rate again.

A Strike on Love was attempted today. It was tried to tear those apart who love. With bars or with death.

But this strike was unsuccessful. Love was stronger in the end.
