The first week after the merger was over, everyone had imagined the new start differently. To recover a little from the stress of the week, the entire staff met at the Kings Pub on Friday evening to wind down.

The next morning dawned, and Marjorie opened her eyes, her head pounding. God, how much did she drink last night? Luckily, she was in her bed, but in the clothes from the night before. She rolled over and reached for Reece, who was usually lying next to him.

When she touched the fabric of a jumper with her hand, she moved closer and cuddled up to the person.

"Good morning, darling..." Marjorie murmured.

It wasn't long before there was a stirring beneath her. " Erm Marjorie, wrong man..."

Marjorie opened her eyes starteld and pushed the person away.

Boom.

" Ouch!"

Marjorie sat up, the room was dim, but she could still see who had just fallen out of bed.

Winter was sitting on the floor, tangled up in the bed sheets.

" Winter?!"

The man rubbed the back of his head, at the same moment, a person sat up next to Marjorie. "What happened?" asked a still sleepy voice.

Marjorie was startled again and turned around. " Charlotte?!"

Charlotte rubbed her eyes. It took her a moment to realise that she wasn't at home in her own bed.

Winter stood up. " Ok, does anyone know what happened yesterday?"

" No... I think I blacked out after the third bottle of wine," mumbled Marjorie.
" Charlotte?"

"I'm a lightweight! I can't remember anything..." she held her stomach. "Oh God, I'll be right back." She jumped up and ran out of the room. She ripped open the bathroom door, and luckily, Charlotte made it to the toilet.

Behind her in the bathtub, someone woke up from the commotion. "Charlotte?"

The woman was closing the toilet seat and pressing the flush when she turned around and looked into two ice blue eyes. " Reece?"

The man rubbed his head. "Why am I lying in the bath?"

" Probably because the bed was already full," said Marjorie, who had quickly followed Charlotte. " Char, my love, are you all right?"

" I'm fine again..." Charlotte mumbled.

Winter joined them now. "Does anyone know where Autumn and Mia are?"

As the group came down the stairs, they found the two missing people. Mia and Autumn had both fallen asleep sitting at the dining table. With a half-full bottle of schnapps on the table and two shot glasses.

"They must always overdo it," muttered Winter, moving closer to his wife. Charlotte did the same with Mia.

"I have a feeling we're forgetting someone..." Reece said quietly.

"Who was there yesterday..." Marjorie went through everyone in her mind. "Oh my God, where's Sorscha!"

While Winter and Char looked after their partners, Marjorie and Reece set off in search of her.

Marjorie quickly realised that Sorscha's shoes were not at the front door. Had she gone home? To make sure, she stepped out of the house. She didn't have to look for long. The Irish was lying in the bushes next to the front door.

" Sorscha?!"

She stirred. " Huh? Where am I?"

Marjorie grabbed her hands and pulled her out of the bushes. "Why do you always end up in some bushes when we go out to party?"

Sorscha, who was still a little out of it, straightened her glasses. "I'm just very close to nature."

The group had now gathered in the living room. Autumn and Mia had to take a painkiller to combat their headaches. Reece made breakfast for those who wanted to eat. Charlotte wasn't among them. She didn't trust her stomach yet.

Marjorie looked at the pictures from last night. It seem like they had started an impromptu karaoke party in the pub yesterday.

Mia also looked in her galley to see if she had filmed anything. The redhead started laughing and turned the phone so that everyone could see the video. Marjorie stood there on the counter and sang Cannibal by Kesha at the top of her voice. The manager turned red in the face.

Autumn found three wine glasses in her handbag. Apparently, she had stolen them.

When Sorscha looked through the pockets of her jumper, she found a set of teeth.
"Where the hell did that come from?"

Charlotte, who was also looking through her gallery, answered quickly. "I think you were playing poker against an old man."

Sorscha grimaced and put them to the side.

"Why does it always have to escalate like this?" asked Winter.

"Next time, someone has to stay sober so that we know what happened," said Reece and put breakfast on the table.

"Didn't you wanted to stay sober?" Autumn asked sceptically.

Reece just shrugged his shoulders in reply.

"I think after the week we had, we just really needed a night out. I mean, we had fun, didn't we?" said Marjorie.

The group silently agreed.
