Sorscha grumbled loudly and annoyed, she held the steering wheel firmly and rested her head on it. When she felt a hand on her thigh.

"It's just dinner," Clodagh said in a calm tone.

"Babe, you want to tell your family you're pregnant. It's not just a dinner," Sorscha murmured.

"As soon as I tell them, we're leaving."

Sorscha lifted her head and looked at her wife. "Please, your family doesn't like me."

Clodagh gave her a sympathetic smile. " I know Darling..."

The two of them got out of the car. Sorscha exhaled loudly again. Clodagh stepped in front of her and began to smooth out her green blazer. "You know why my family doesn't like you."

" Because I can never keep my mouth shut?"

Clodagh laughed lightly." That. And because you dragged their little girl into a non-conformist life."

Sorscha looked at her seriously. "You pulled me into the bushes at the school dance. I kept my hands to myself"

They both had to laugh. But unfortunately, in the eyes of Clodagh's family, Sorscha had pulled her into a lifestyle they didn't approve of. Clodagh is the middle child of three sisters, and her parents had already planned their daughter's life. But then came Sorscha.

Clodagh had known since she was very young age, that boys just weren't interesting. But back then she thought that would come when she got older. Well, fortunately, life had brought her Sorscha.

Sorscha pulled her wife close to her, lifted her chin with her hand and gave her a kiss.

"Maybe it won't be so bad," Clodagh whispered against Sorscha's lips.

"Of course, just tell yourself that," Sorscha said sarcastically.

The two of them walked up the driveway towards the front door. Sorscha put her hand on Clodagh's lower back.

"Your older sister is already here," she whispered, pointing to car in the driveway.

"No surprises there. But I can tell you that my younger sister won't be coming. "

Lauren, was the baby of the family, she had moved to the other side of the country after her studies and rarely showed up.

"I'm curious to see who Fiona's new boyfriend is," said Sorscha, grinning slightly.

" Darling, don't be so spiteful. She'll probably marry him next year." Even Clodagh couldn't take herself seriously.

" Of course, she's been saying that for.... seven years, and every time we see her again, she has a new boyfriend."

The door opened and Clodagh's father stood behind it. The man was actually quite nice and had little to no problem with Sorscha. But he had no backbone and let his wife decide everything.

" Clodagh! My girl! Nice of you to come." He hugged his daughter tightly. "You look beautiful. You're positively glowing."

Then he turned his gaze to Sorscha, who was standing slightly behind her wife.

"Sorscha." He held out his hand to her.

"Harald." Sorscha returned the handshake.

When they arrived in the living room, Fiona was already sitting at the laid table, and of course with a new man at her side.

The couple stood up to greet Sorscha and Clodagh.

"Hello. This is Mitchel," said Fiona with a broad smile.
