A long Friday finally came to an end. The last things were cleared away, and the plans for the weekend were discussed in the rooms.

Charlotte and Winter were tidying up the baby room when they were visited by Carly and Sorscha. They asked if they could help them with anything.

Marjorie was on her way to the entrance to lock it, so that no one could enter anymore. Autumn, on the other hand, also went into the baby room to see Winter.

Just as Marjorie was about to deactivate the electric door, it was ripped open in front of her.

Charlotte heard several footsteps from the corridor, she seemed to be the only one who noticed. She wanted to step out of the door, when she looked into the end of a gun.

Slow footsteps passed behind the group kneeling on the floor. Sometimes he stopped behind one of them and pointing the end of his gun against the back of their heads.

Another man stood by the door with his arms folded, his gaze constantly travelling between them.

The last man in the group. Standing in front of them all. With a dirty grin, most likely he was the leader.

"Ladies and gentlemen," he glanced at Winter. "I'm sure you're wondering what this is all about. Well, let me start like this. I'm a businessman and your boss hasn't paid his debt to me. And I'm here to motivate him to finally give me my money. So..." he began to slowly point his weapons at everyone kneeling in front of him. "Which one of you pretty ones is Autumn Knight?"

"Me." She stood up.

She immediately felt the gaze of Autumn, who was kneeling next to her.

The man stepped closer. " You? Is she telling the truth?" he asked the group.

No one answered. Winter just stared at him angrily. Charlotte looked at her hands and had made herself as small as possible. Sorscha had closed her eyes and seemed to be praying quietly. Carly tried desperately to keep her sobbing as quiet as possible.

The leader looked at the man. Who was pacing up and down behind them the whole time. He immediately reached for someone else in the group. Carly let out a scream. He pressed his gun against her head.

Marjorie flinched but was now being held by the leader, he pressed his gun against her chin. " If you lie to me, I'll have the girl's brains scattered on the floor. So I'll ask again. Who is Autumn Knight!"

Autumn took a deep breath, glancing at Winter before standing up. "It's me. Let the others go."

He grinned at her. " Now I can see the family resemblance. Well, Mrs Knight, we need to have a chat. " he shoved Marjorie to the floor. " Buck! Let go of the girl!"

Carly was also pushed to the ground, Sorscha pulled her in to her arms and held her tightly. "Everything will be all right..." she whispered again and again to calm her down.

Autumn was grabbed by the arm and pulled out of the room. Now only the two henchmen were still here with the others.

The man who had been standing next to the door with his arms folded the whole time took a chair and sat down in front of the kneeling group. He put his arms on the armrest and just stared at them.

"What do you want?" Marjorie dared to speak.

" Money... My boss doesn't like being ripped off... and unfortunately, you've been dragged into it now."

"And what will happen if you don't get it?" asked Winter.

" Well, if not, it's going to be a bloodbath here today."

Charlotte broke down and began to cry. Sorscha still held Carly and tried to distract her, so that she didn't notice what was going on around her.

Marjorie and Winter exchanged glances. "Please listen to me. Carly is seventeen years old, she has her whole life ahead of her. Char and Sorscha have children. If you want hostages, take me and Winter, but let the others go."

The man in the chair tilted his head. " Do I look like I care. If the boss wants you dead. Then you're dead."

Autumn was now sitting in the office, with the man sitting opposite her.

"I want you to call your father and tell him who's here."

"And you are?"

"Just tell him the wolf is here. Then he'll understand." He grinned. "I hope he pays, it would be a shame to put down a beautiful woman like you." He stood up and came closer to her.

Autumn backed away and wanted to reach for the phone. But he stopped her.

" Maybe we should have a little fun first. " He pressed the end of his gun into her chest.

'He underestimates me,' she thought to herself.

With one swift movement, she kicked him between the legs, he fell back slightly, enough time for Autumn to kick him in the chest. She jumped up.

The man managed to keep his balance, Autumn tried to grab his arm, at the same moment the gun was pointed at her.

A loud bang echoed through the building.
