"What the hell are you doing here?" said Charlotte.

Mia adjusted her jacket again. "I was investigating what does it looked like."

"And why were you running away?" asked Reece sceptically.

"This is a secret investigation," Mia said dryly. She turned her attention to Charlotte. "How are you, Char?"

"Fine," Char hissed.

Reece quickly decided to ask another question before the two of them got into an argument. It was an open secret that they had a relationship. But Mia had just taken off one morning to join the MI6. The man held up the picture of Miller. " Do you know him?"

Mia looked at him in surprise. " That's Andy Miller, I've been following him for months. He's part of a drug ring that gets drugs from South America across the sea to England."

"We found him dead in an alleyway this morning," said Charlotte.

" Great... All that work for nothing. But that explains the pool of blood in the warehouse."

The phone in the office rang, and Marjorie picked it up immediately. the receiver. "Hello, Sergeant Van Gould."

"Hey, it's Reece. We have found the crime scene."

" Good, I'll send you Winter with a team of forensic experts. I'd like to come myself or send Autumn. But a new detective will be here soon."

There was a brief silence at the other end. "Is my sister getting a new partner? Shall we bet how long she'll last with her?"

" Stop it!"

She heard Reece laugh lightly. " Just kidding. One more thing, this whole thing is apparently bigger than we thought. Miller was involved with drugs that even the MI6 had him in their sights."

"MI6? Please don't tell me Mia's with you," Marjorie said, binging her nose bridge.

"Well..."

The door to her office opened, and Sarah entered the room. "We'll talk about this later, I have to go."

Mia had led them both to the pool of blood in the warehouse. Charlotte knelt down. In addition to the blood, white powder was scattered on the floor. "Cocaine. Mia, what kind of drug ring is this?"

"They call themselves the Sea Snakes because they bring the stuff here by boat," Mia explained.

"A failed deal?" said Reece.

"I don't think so. If it had been one of the gang members, you wouldn't have found a body," said Mia.

Charlotte let her eyes wander around the deserted warehouse. "Why here?"

Sorscha placed one of the bullets she had received from Clodagh under her microscope. There were clear lines on the bullet, with which she could use to identify the weapon.

She ran her information through the database and actually got a hit. Sorscha then wanted to test how far away the perpetrator was from the victim.

She took a Glock from the gun cabinet, which was similar to the murder weapon. She then went from her work area to the shooting range, which was also in the room.

Sorscha set up the dummy, which imitated the body of a human.

She fired the first shot. The bullet went straight through the dummy, so the distance she had was too close.

Sorscha tried around a bit until she got the exact distance so that the bullet stuck. But the second bullet that was found in the victim. Gave her a headache. It had almost travelled through the body but was stopped by something.
