Marjorie heard the door to the office building open, expecting Reece or perhaps Autumn. But to her displeasure, Janice stepped out. She smiled at her and stood herself beside the door. She immediately started her bad habit again.

Marjorie eyed her critically, not liking how cheerful the woman seemed. Janice pocketed her lighter again.

"Nice weather today, isn't it?"

Marjorie immediately crossed her arms. " Is that an attempt at small talk?"

" Oh, I just wanted to give you some peace and quiet before a tornado, lightning and thunder hit," Janice said dryly and after she took a puff.

As if on cue, the front door of the building was ripped open with such force that it almost fell out of its bracket.

Mia stormed out, the redhead completely enraged. With all her strength, she kicked a can out of the way, which was lying on the pavement. The Knight Siblings were close behind.

Marjorie immediately went to Reece. "What's happened? Is Roger still the owner?"

" No, we were able to vote him out."

The manager looked at her boyfriend with questions. But before he could answer. Mia's voice rang out. " Charlotte has betrayed us!"

"What?" asked Marjorie.

Autumn crossed her arms. " She voted for my Father."

"She did what! Why!" cried Marjorie, stunned.

" We don't know," said Reece.

"Wait?! How did you then manage to vote him out? Did Siobhan change her mind?"

Autumn shook her head. Marjorie turned to Janice questioningly. Who was still leaning against the wall of the building. "You welcome," she said in a soft voice.

"Why?" Marjorie asked sceptically.

" Think of it as a peace offering."

Mia paced angrily. She simply couldn't believe that Charlotte had stabbed them in the back so coldly.

"Where's Charlotte?" asked Marjorie.

"Still with Roger!" shouted Mia.

Autumn couldn't explain the whole thing. She eyed Janice critically. There was something wrong with the whole thing. Why was she suddenly helping them?

Charlotte was still sitting at the table, looking down at the floor. Siobhan had just left the room. Now she was alone with Roger.

"What are you still doing here?" he asked in an aggressive tone.

" I... Well..."

"Spit it out, Charlotte! I've got other problems right now!" Roger jumped off the table and stepped over to his desk." That two face whore betrayed me!"

Charlotte now dared to raise her eyes. Janice had played with everyone here, she had persuaded her to vote for Roger, only to stab her in the back. How should she get out of his clutches now? "I will resign as a member."

Roger's eyes fixed on her. "What? You won't! I want you to regain their trust again!"

Charlotte played nervously with her fingers. She couldn't take it anymore, her life was crumbling around her. She stood up slowly. "No, that won't work."

Roger stormed up to her and grabbed her arm. " And why not?!"

" Because I promised them I'd vote for Autumn. It's over Roger, let me go. I can't give you nothing more."

Roger's grip on her arm tightened. He wasn't going to give up that easily. "There's still so much you can give me! Let me tell you one thing Charlotte, I built you up, I can tear you down again! As long as you're breathing, you're mine!"

Charlotte was really trapped, she would never get out of this. There was only one way out. Her eyes wandered to the scissors lying on the table next to her.

"It was you. You manipulated Charlotte!" Autumn said in a serious voice.

Janice grinned. "You should thank me, I fixed all your problems for you."

Mia wheeled round. "You fucking bitch!" she stormed towards Janice. But Autumn and Reece hold her back. Mia tried to kick in her direction. But Janice was out of reach.

Janice dropped her cigarette. " There is only so much a person can take before there snap."

The realisation hit Autumn like a blow, she let go of Mia and ran back into the building. She stormed up the stairs and ran down the corridor to her Father's office. Halfway there, Siobhan ran towards her.

The blonde looked completely shocked. She fell into Autumn's arms. Siobhan didn't even manage to say what she had just seen as she entered the office.

"Siobhan! Go outside!" Autumn shouted, pushing Siobhan towards the exit before continuing to run.

As she tore open the office door, she saw a gruesome scene.

Her father was lying on the floor, the end of a pair of scissors sticking out of her neck. Charlotte knelt in front of him, her hands covered in blood.
