Siobhan knew she was playing with fire, she knew it from the moment she was really together with Roger.

She knew what he was, if you looked just a little behind the facade, you could see it. The monster, the narcissist, the manipulator. But Siobhan always thought she was smarter than him.

As she slipped deeper and deeper into his web, she realised that she was trapped.

Now it was up to her to do the right thing and stop the monster once and for all. Roger was still in his office with Janice. Siobhan had slipped away.

She looked through the files he had at home in his personal study. Roger was so arrogant, he really thought Siobhan didn't have the courage to betray him. But here she was. She took photo after photo.

Of fake reports that Charlotte had turned up drunk at work. The copy of her car keys. That was how the vodka bottle ended up in her car.

The reports to the insurance company, with Marjorie's forged signature.

Winter's bank details, which he had used to transfer the money to Winter without him realising.

After she had documented everything. She sent all her evidence to Reece.

It wasn't long before he rang her.

"Siobhan." His voice sounded serious. "You're in his office at home, aren't you?"

" Yes."

" I've passed everything on to the police. They're on their way to you. Where's my dad?"

" Still in the office with Janice."

" Thought so, a patrol car is on its way there too.... Thanks Siobhan..."

The blonde smiled, she had finally done one thing right in her life. Maybe she could finally redeem herself from her past sins.

"Reece, I..." she couldn't get any further as her voice failed. Her legs gave way. Everything around her went black.

The documents lying on the desk in front of her were now covered in her blood.

Reece heard the bang at the other end, followed by a soft gasp.

Had the Knight decapitated the Serpent, or was there still hope?
