Y/N's P.OV.
The bell rang and I waited outside the crowded hallway for Calum.
"Hey," Calum said behind me as I turned to face him.
"Hey, I want to explain what happened, but can we do it in private?" I asked.
"Sure," he said. He grabbed my hand and led me outside. We went to where we have study hall together and sat on the swings.
"What's up?" he asked.
"So... umm... My mom has alcohol poisoning and now she's unconscious in the hospital. Dad didn't know until this morning at six. The doctor's said they wouldn't know if she would be able to regain consciousness. My dad was really worried so he got on a flight to leave for America this morning... And sorta... left me here alone," I said.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N," Calum said as he hugged me.
"Thanks Calum, but it's not your fault," I said.
"I know, but if there's anything you want me to do to make you feel better, tell me".
"You're the best Cal," I said and hugged him again. It was a little awkward since we were on the swings, but that was okay.
