Cole's Struggle

Cole: *sitting on the ramp by himself*
Leah: *walking around boredly, trying to figure out something to do, when she notices Cole* Oh, hey. *sits beside him*
Cole: *smiles* Hi Leah.
Leah: So... How's life?
Cole: *laughs* It's okay.
Leah: Okay?
Cole: *shrugs* It's hard coming back and seeing the girl I love now married and with kids...
Leah: Oh...yeah... Sorry?
Cole: *smiles and shakes his head* It's okay... I just wish I would've had a chance to date you for a bit before the accident.
Leah: Yeah... When I was little, I liked you too, y'know... But then I fell in love with Joey.
Cole: Right... *looks down*
Leah: What?
Cole: Nothing, nothing...
Leah: Okay...?
Cole: Well, I'm going to go to town... See you around, Leah. *stands and walks off*
Leah: Bye Cole. *walks back inside*
