Operation Breakout (Part 1)

Rylee called Derrick over to watch Matthew and Rose and then walked out, not explaining where she was going.

Casey called Julia over to watch Jason and Pepper and then drove off, not explaining where she was going.

Casey pulled up to the curb and Rylee got in. They immediately drove off. Somewhere, hidden below ground, were Robert Johnson, Rebecca Johnson, Whitney Holden, and Jamie Briar.

These people witnessed the beginning of powers in the world. They were ultimately the keepers of the origin of powers. One of them was Derrick's father - Robert, and the other was Robert's granddaughter - Rebecca, who wasn't one of the people who witnessed the origin of powers, but had tried to save Robert so she was captive. At the moment, James had them captive underground. That wasn't going to stand with the two sisters.

They parked and silently walked, knowing their goal. Rylee linked their minds so they could communicate in silence as Casey hacked the entrance open and walked in, pulling out a device and sending a pulse down the hall, knocking out the guards. Casey and Rylee stepped over them and walked deeper into the base. They weren't leaving without their family and the other captives.

Robert smiled to himself as the alarm went off. He knew his girls would come through... They always did. Now, it was only a matter of minutes.
