The Andersons' Birthday Party Invite Reaction

Jacob walked back home from hanging out with Aspen. "Sooo, Aspen invited us to her birthday party."
"Oh how exciting!!! A sweet 16 party!!" Jenna sighed happily. "I can't wait to have Emily's!"
Emily shrugged, disinterested. "Who would even come?"
"Joooordaaan?" Brandon suggested teasingly, poking her.
"I dunno, maybe. I haven't really talked to him a lot lately, so..." Emily looked down, suddenly a bit less happy.
"Want me to beat him u-?" Brandon began.
"Nooo!!! I want grandchildren!" Jenna interrupted. "Leave him alone!"
"Mom, they're not even dating. Besides, Jacob can give you grandchildren when him and Aspen get married," Brandon stated.
Jacob facepalmed. "Aaaaanyways, she invited all of us. But the location is...um...interesting..."
"Oh really? Where is it?" Jenna asked in interest.
"Don't freak out, mom, but... She's flying a bunch of people to Hawaii for a week and then bac-" Jacob started.
Jenna's eyes widened. "What?! How many people did she invite?!"
Jacob shrugged. "I'm not really sure. Probably Ryland, Dayton, Lyra, Rylee, Brooke, their families, and us. Not sure who else. Maybe some other family? Like maybe a cousin or something."
"And they're paying to fly all of these people down to Hawaii...for a week...and the hotel...?" Jenna asked slowly.
"Yep, think so," Jacob agreed, handing her the invitation.
"Oh, I'm working then... I don't think I could get off that long. You three go and have fun," Jenna smiled, handing it back.
"Not a chance, mom! You and I have always wanted to go to the beach!" Emily argued.
"Yeah, come on. One week wouldn't hurt if we turned off all the lights and weren't even here, right?" Brandon agreed.
Jenna sighed and sat down. "After your father and I got married... We had our honeymoon in Hawaii."
All three were silent and then Emily and Brandon hugged her.
"Mom..." Jacob frowned. "I'm sorry."
"You shouldn't let our jerky dad ruin Hawaii for you, mom!" Emily frowned. "Please?"
Jenna was silent for a few moments. All three kids started saying please repeatedly and she sighed in defeat.
"Okay, I'll try to use my vacation days," Jenna gave in.
The kids cheered happily and she laughed.
"Alright alright... Now go do something, kiddos. I have to go to work," Jenna stated, standing.
"Aaawwww, bye mom!" Emily said, hugging her quickly and walking out.
Jacob and Brandon said their goodbyes and walked out. She smiled and then took a deep breath, trying not to think about him. She then walked out to go to work.
