Power Meditation With Rylee

"How would you like to learn the one secret that saved me from insanity when I was an empath and now as a telepath?" Rylee asked, sitting criss-cross on a towel and patting the spot beside her.
Charlotte sat beside her and smiled. "Sure! What is it?"
Rylee laughed. "Close your eyes and reach out with your power to every plant around you. Leave them alone, but connect to them. After that... Focus on every individual feature. Let the peace of having so many things around you soothe you. After that... I want you to focus on the feeling you have inside when you use your power. Disconnect from the plants but relax and focus on that feeling. The peace spreading through you... Then just let your power speak to you and strengthen as you continue to relax and embrace it."
Charlotte was spaced out by this point, relaxed. Rylee smiled then did her own version. It was a bit more complex... She went into her mind, barely conscious and just rested and relaxed her telepathy. She lost track of time and track of herself... Suddenly, a fish cried out as it was baited and reeled in and she snapped out of it. She gently guided Charlotte out of the blissful trance and Charlotte opened her eyes.
"Wow..." were her only words.
Rylee laughed. "You know what's even better? That's just the basics."
"You're really smart..." Charlotte complimented.
"Thanks!" Rylee smiled. "Anyways, I know you want to go see Charles and Nina, so let's go."
She stood and walked off with Charlotte following shyly.
