OCs 2 - the Sequel

Nia's Family

Nia got an email and used her phone accessability settings to read it. It was from her dad - by birth, that is. Her step dad and her mom raised her, after all. Her dad, however, paid for a lot of her education, which would have been a struggle for her family otherwise. She had heard he was rich and successful... She hadn't seen him in a long time though - after all, her mom and dad got divorced after her mom cheated.

"Dear Karnia,

It has been a long time since I've had you over for a visit. I'd love to have you over again. And I know your older siblings would love to see you too. I hope you visit me soon.

- A.J. Sanders"

Nia thought for a moment then found her way to pushing reply then used text to speech to say, "I'd like to visit. Could you send transportation?"

She sent it and it wasn't long before he called her. Nia answered as quickly as she could.
"Nia, I'd love to see you today, but I'm on a business trip in Belgium."
"Oh..." Nia sighed slightly. "I understand."
"However, I know your sister would love to have your company. Would you like me to send you to her for a visit? Then I can visit you when I return," AJ suggested.
Nia smiled. "Yes! I'd love that!"
"Great. Your driver will honk when he's here. I trust you can get in with Bandit?" AJ asked.
"Yes, I can," Nia said. "Thanks dad!"
"Of course. See you soon."
"Bye," she said.
He hung up and Nia got up, walking over to Bandit. "Time to go see my sister! ...but what's my sister's name again...?"
Bandit just barked quietly, snuggling close to her. Nia smiled and petted him. She grabbed the leash and put it on Bandit before walking out.
"Dad, I'm going to visit my sister," Nia called, not sure where he was.
"Your sister?" her mother said in horror. "But why?!"
"I wanted to visit," Nia said, stopping.
"That sounds like a great idea," her step-dad interjected. "Have fun with Julia, Nia."
Nia smiled and continued walking, reaching for the handle then walking outside just as the car arrived.
"Hello, Miss Nia. Your father asked me to drive you to Mrs. Prince," the driver said. "Please, have a seat."
He opened the door and Bandit guided her over before hopping in. She let go of the leash and also got in, buckling up.
The driver shut the door and got in. "Off we go, ma'am."
He backed out as her mother was horrified. Seeing AJ was one thing, but seeing Julia wouldn't lead to anything good... Julia never liked her during the brief period she was married to AJ. Julia always prefered her mother and disapproved of the marriage entirely as a child. Her disapproval soon ended with their divorce. AJ realized his royal wife was his one and only after 3 whole years after a cheating incident. Nia was taken with her and the family was restored.

Julia got the text from AJ and squeled. She never cared for her stepmother, but she adored her blind half-sister. She was so excited to have her sister here! She couldn't wait for Hudson, Steven, Chloe, and Adelyn to meet Nia. She then began running around and tidying up anything Nia might trip on, still the overprotective sister she was.
