Ginger drove over and parked at Ray's house to get Kari and Rex. She had left Caroline with Neil. She got out and noticed another car was here...weird... Who could that be? She shrugged it off and walked to the door, knocking.
Taylor opened the door and smiled. "Oh, hi Ginger. Ray, sweetheart, Ginger's here!"
Ginger's eyes widened slightly. So he finally moved on... Well, she couldn't blame him. She had too. She took a calming breath and smiled.
"Hi... I'm Ginger. Nice to meet you..." Ginger forced herself to say.
"So nice to meet you too! I'm Taylor. Your kids are precious!"
Ray carried Rex and Kari to the door and set them down.
"Mommy!" Rex grinned, teleporting over and hugging her legs.
Kari giggled and also walked over. "Mama!"
She hugged her legs too. Ginger smiled and picked them up.
"Hi guys. Did you have fun with your dad?" Ginger asked, kissing both of their heads.
"Yeah! And Taylor's really nice too!" Rex grinned.
"Aww... You are too, buddy!" Taylor smiled.
Ginger smiled slightly. "Cool... Ray, I didn't know you had a girlfriend."
"Oh, well, I do," Ray grinned. "I hope you two will get along great... And we're actually engaged."
"Oh, cool," Ginger said. "Well, I should be going now..."
"Okay, see you soon, Ginger," Taylor smiled sweetly.
"Bye guys!" Ray smiled. "Cya."
Rex and Kari giggled and waved. Ginger forced a smile before walking back to the car. There was...almost something off about Taylor. But what was it? Or was she just jealous?

Ginger internet stalked Taylor and found her in some of Julia's old pictures. But then she vanished from her posts. Weird... What happened? Ginger had a feeling she needed to know... So she did what she had to. She called Julia.

Julia knew something was off. So when she got a call from an old contact in her phone... Ginger Gates... She knew it was important. She took a breath, preparing herself for what was about to happen.
She accepted the call. "Hello?"
Ginger sighed in relief. "Hi Julia... Thanks for answering. I wasn't sure if you'd recognize my number anymore."
"I still had you in my contacts," Julia smiled for a moment. "So, what's wrong?"
"How'd you know-? Nevermind. It's... Okay... This will sound ridiculous, I know, but my ex-husband, Ray... He uh... He got engaged to a girl named Taylor. And I felt something...off. And I saw her in some of your old pictures while I was researching, so I wanted to ask you about her because I felt like I needed to know... It's important to me who my kids future step-mom is."
Julia was quiet for a moment, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. Painful memories just resurfaced... "Taylor was my good friend... But after I broke up with Fred... She tormented me in college. Ohhh, she made me mad. She's the Director of the FBI's assistant. She still annoys me to this day. She's mainly just rude to me, so I think she's probably fine. Besides being rude and manipulative... Sorry. I can't be unbias and tell you about her. I just despise her."
Ginger smiled slightly. "I appreciate your honesty... Thanks Julia. Do you know anything about her background?"
"I don't, but I could get Nate to look into her background for you," Julia replied.
"I really appreciate it. I'm probably just paranoid, but I just felt like I needed to know."
"I felt something off too... I'll let you know what I find out," Julia replied.
"Thanks Julia... I really appreciate it," Ginger smiled.
"Anytime, Miss Gates," Julia said, jokingly formal.
Ginger laughed. "I'm not Miss Gates anymore. I'm a Mrs. now, Miss Sanders."
"Same here," Julia replied. "It's been too long since we talked, hasn't it?"
"Definitely," Ginger agreed. "We'll have to do it again. But in the meantime... I have 3 kids, so I better go check on them."
Julia laughed. "Okay, have fun. Bye Ginger."
"Bye Julia," Ginger replied.
They hung up and went to take care of their kids.

Nate called Ginger directly and she answered. "Ginger, the Taylor Smith you and Julia spoke of doesn't exist."
Ginger's eyes widened and she dropped the phone.
"Ginger? Ginger??" Nate asked.
Ginger slowly turned around to face Taylor.
"So you learned the truth... But you'll keep quiet, Ginger. You wouldn't want something bad to happen," Taylor spoke with a smirk.
Ginger narrowed her eyes. "What do you want?"
"More than you could imagine," Taylor smiled slyly. "But right now... I want your ex."
With that, she turned and walked out. Ginger stood there, stunned. Who was she?! She slowly sat in her chair and just thought. And what did she want...?

Ginger had invited Ray over and pulled him inside and into the kitchen. "Ray, Taylor is not who you think. You need to stay away from her, okay?"
Ray raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure you're not just jealous? That's how I felt after you first started dating Neil..."
"No! Listen, Ray. Seriously. You should stay away from her!" Ginger said exasperatedly.
"Ginger, you're married. Why don't you want me to be happy too? You can't just try to ruin my love life. You already refused to love me again, so I moved on, alright?"
"Ray, I understand you want to move on and that's healthy, but she's mean and manipulative and-"
"No, you're just jealous. Well, sorry. I know what that feels like. You'll get over it and you'll realize she's great. Besides, Rex and Kari like her. Maybe you should try to like her too. Taylor's very nice. You should try to be too."
Ray turned and walked out. Ginger just sighed. He wouldn't listen... She didn't really blame him, but still. She supposed he'd have to learn the hard way... But what was her deal? That's what Ginger couldn't figure out...
