Ginger glanced longingly over at Nina's house before walking in her new house. She wrapped the blanket around her shoulders. Not being nearly as extra as Julia, the decor didn't bother her too much. It was...comfortable. She normally didn't throw her money around, but she needed a house and didn't want to stay at Trey's house, so this was an exception. She loved Trey, but his mom was crazy. She remembered an old story about her giving up her daughter for adoption...
But anyways, she quickly locked the door, kinda scared to be alone. She hadn't ever been completely alone in her life... She took a deep breath and glanced down at her hand where her ring used to be. She bit her lip and tried to fight the tears as she slowly walked up the stairs, frowning. A few tears slipped out and she made a turn, walking down the hall.
She jumped when she heard a noise and hurried into the room, lying down in the bed and fixing her blanket so it covered her up. Realizing how empty and alone she felt, lying in bed alone in an empty, new house. She immediately started crying.
She sobbed over her soon to happen divorce, she cried because she was alone, and she cried because she was moody. She craved to be held by Ray again and have him whisper it was okay like he used to. For him to surprise her with flowers and be cute.
But after they got married... Teenage Ray slowly started to become different. He started...growing up, maybe? Ginger wasn't sure what happened to make him change, but he became more...self focused. Maybe it was because they were married and he wasn't worried about if she'd stay anymore?
She continued to cry over her parents who sided with Ray instead of her. She cried over the lack of support and the hopelessness she felt. The emotions she already felt of rejection and sadness were amplified by her moodiness.
Ginger couldn't help but feel utterly and completely alone. And it was driving her insane. She kinda lost touch with old friends when she started dating Ray. Her entire world became Trey, her family, and Ray.
Now she wished she would've picked her friends instead. Look where Ray got her...
She wasn't really sure what to do anymore. She definitely needed to buy baby stuff for Kari and Rex... She calmed down slightly from the thought. At least if she didn't have anyone else, she would have her twins...
She made up her mind she would talk to Nina tomorrow even though she was scared. She figured it didn't hurt to check and see if Nina was like Ginger's aunt, mom, and grandma.
With that final thought, she fell asleep semi-peacefully. She had hope. She hoped it would be worth hoping about and that something else didn't go wrong.
