OCs 2 - the Sequel

The Aftermath

Nate walked in to see everyone casually waiting for him, James restrained, and Rylee unconscious.
"What happened?" were his only words, as he stopped in his tracks.
His backup also stopped.
"Rylee and Becca kicked butt," Casey said plainly.
Nate raised an eyebrow. "Rylee?"
"Yep! She was all glowy and super Rylee-y!" Becca explained. "Then she ran out of power and passed out."
"Hm... Interesting. I didn't know that was possible..." Nate commented.
"Me neither!" Casey stated. "But she was awesome!!"
Nate nodded and walked over to James. "I'm going to ask you this once, James. Are you the top of this?"
James paled. "W-why would you think I'm not?"
Nate narrowed his eyes. "Who is behind all this, James? Tell...me..."
"No! I'd rather suffer than tell you! If I told you who was above me, I'd suffer much worse than anything you could do to me," James stated.
"I'm sure Rylee will be able to pluck that information right out of your head when she wakes up. Anyways... Where is Mr. Johnson?"
"He's not here! They picked him up after the girls showed up and I wasn't told where he was going," James said.
Casey narrowed her eyes. "You let someone take my grandpa after you took him?!?!! Give him back!!"
"Case, rela-" Nate tried to reassure.
"Don't tell me to...to relax!!!" Casey snapped. "Get grandpa back or I will take matters into my own hands!"
Nate's eyes widened. "You don't mean..."
"I might! Depends on how you act!" Casey replied. "Now... I'm taking my cousin and sister and leaving. Tick tock, Nathaniel."
Casey walked over and tried to pick Rylee up and couldn't. Becca covered her mouth to hide a laugh.
Nate smiled slightly in amusement, raising an eyebrow. "Need help?"
"Grr...so much for my dramatic exit!" Casey pouted then sighed. "Yes... I've never been a strong person."
Nate chuckled. "Okay. Banks, take Rylee and follow Casey."
The agent nodded and picked Rylee up.
"Okay anyways... Tick tock, Nathaniel!" Casey stated, turning on her heel and striding out.
Becca shrugged and she and the agent followed.
Nate just smiled and shook his head then focused on James. "You are spilling your secrets, one way or another, James. If Casey's implying what I think... It's devastating. So I will find her and you will help me. Got it? Good. Take him into custody."
