Leah 'borrowed' Ben's ship, flying off. She set a course for the inner core system. Cici had always been her frenemy, so she knew her husband too.

When they got divorced, Leah had been there for Cici and had yelled at Viren for 10 whole minutes before the authorities literally dragged her away, while she was still yelling at him.

Now, she had left his precious daughter without saying a word?!

Leah had to talk to him...and she had a lot to say.

Leah got out of the ship and walked through the streets, not bothering to hide her face. It was as if she was screaming her maiden name from the rooftops repeatedly - BROOKS, BROOKS, BROOKS. Leah - even as an adult and mother - still had a bounty on her head. But she didn't mind too much - after all, sometimes being a Brooks also meant most people were afraid to even glare at her if they knew who she was.

She kicked open the door to Viren's new house and stomped in. "Viren, how could you just leave your daughter!"
"Not so loud!" Viren glared, shutting the door. "I didn't have time!"
"You didn't have time?! Do you know how lame you sound?" Leah scoffed.
"I knew you'd come here," Viren stated.
"Don't change the subject!" Leah yelled.
Viren rolled his eyes. "Now!"
The door was broken down and people came out. Leah was stunned and passed out, being caught by Viren. He didn't really care about leaving his daughter... She preferred her mother anyways. He had more important things to do, and he was done with Cici and Hailey. Getting Leah here was only a bonus... Aaron Brooks would do anything for his favorite child.
Suddenly, all of Viren's backup passed out. Viren set Leah down and got out his blaster, looking around carefully.
"Who's there?" he demanded.
Aaron tapped on his shoulder then punched him as hard as he could in the face. Viren dropped his blaster and fell backwards, wincing and holding his face.
"Never come near my family ever again," Aaron warned, picking up Leah and stepping over him, walking out.

Leah woke up and yawned, sitting up and looking around.
"Morning, sleeping beauty," Aaron greeted.
"Dad? But I-" Leah began, confused.
"I saved you. What were you thinking?" Aaron interrupted, giving his daughter a look. "What if I hadn't of been there?"
"Sorry dad... I guess I'm a bit rusty..." Leah said, looking down at the floor.
"That's not what I meant... I just-" he sighed. "I'm not always going to be around, kiddo. Please be careful... Why were you there anyways?"
Leah sighed. "Viren left Hailey without saying goodbye... Her own dad left her. And I don't think it was an accident... I hoped I could talk some sense into him, you know? But...well...it didn't work out, clearly."
Aaron nodded. "...Something I've been learning is that I can't fix everything."
Leah sighed. "I guess you're right... Thanks dad."
"As long as I'm able, I'll always protect you," Aaron promised, hugging her. "Just be careful..."
"I'll try..." Leah said, hugging back.
"Isn't it do or do not, there is no try?" Aaron asked jokingly.
Leah laughed and pulled away, rolling her eyes. "Yeah yeah..."
Aaron laughed too and landed. They walked back on the ship together.
