"You know, it's pretty ironic, isn't it?" Emperor Hugo smirked, walking into Celeste's cell while holding the rybrospon. "After all your studies, all your power... All the tests you passed to become the powerful warrior you are..." He smirked and stopped, looking down at her. "And now, here you are at my mercy."
Celeste just stared at him, silent. She was trying to draw as much power as she could while she was still able...
"I think that's quite enough," he said, handing the crystal to a guard as he walked away. "If only you'd tell us how to do what you do with that crystal..."
Celeste took deep breaths, leaning back against the wall and sighing. "What do you want from me...? It's been so...so long..."
"Your power, of course," the emperor replied. "It's time for a test."
He turned and walked out. "Bring her into the command center."

Emperor Hugo walked into the command center. "Cedric, are you ready to test your influence on her? I have severely weakened our weapon for you."
Cedric nodded. "Of course, father."
The guards brought her in and let go, letting her fall to her knees on the floor, exhausted. Cedric slowly walked over and reached out his hand, closing his eyes.
Celeste's eyes widened. No! He couldn't take her mind! She threw up a mental shield, kicking him out of her head with force. Cedric's eyes opened, stumbling back.
"She might be stubborn, but I'm sure it can be handled," Hugo stated dismissively. "Keep trying."

They sat there, fighting a mental battle even with her limited energy. Finally, she had nothing left to defend with. Her energy was so weak... If only...
Finally, Cedric got in and made her their servant. She would be quite useful... Especially against Nate.
"Well done, Cedric," his father (Hugo) praised. "Now... Return her to her cell."
She was carried off, barely conscious. If only...
"I have big plans for her... Be prepared, son," Emperor Hugo smirked, before turning and walking out.
Cedric sighed and glanced down at his bracelet, identical to Genesis's. Why did she have to be so stubborn too? Why couldn't she just give in and join them?
