OCs 2 - the Sequel

No Hesitation

Casey sighed, watching through the slightly cracked open door as Rylee struggled to roll over, wincing and whimpering. She finally rolled over and then closed her eyes, wincing as she tried to rest. Casey frowned and then walked back to their lab area.
"If Rylee became a healer from that experiment..." Casey trailed off then looked over at the second and only other prototype they had of what gave Rylee powers.
Casey took a deep breath, marched over to the vial, and without any hesitation, drank it all. She coughed and began to feel strange... She decided to go to bed and then maybe - just maybe - when she woke up, she could heal Rylee. She stumbled into her room, plopped on her bed, and fell asleep...
