Sadia's Rules of Being a Guardian

Sadia's Rules for Being a Guardian:

1. This is NOT about you.

Note: Being a guardian is a supporting role. You can be very assertive about being support like me, but ultimately, Arc, Soren, Hayes, and Clem are the ones that matter most above yourself.

2. Fighting is how we accomplish the why.

Note: Why we fight is more important than fighting in general or how we fight at all. We fight for earth and more importantly, you and I fight for them.

3. Being powerful is nice, but there are more important things, like people.

4. Your loyalty needs to be to them, to a point where it's natural to happily risk your life for theirs.

Note: Leave this to me until you're older! I mean it!

5. If the earth siblings aren't around or don't care, I'm in charge because I said so.

6. You're allowed to be afraid, but don't be cowardly.

7. Don't get too comfortable that you lose your edge.

8. You can never train enough.

9. You never stop improving and growing.

10. You don't know as much as you think you do.

11. Time might fly by, but treat every moment like you'll never get it back.

12. Never stop learning.

13. Be kind when you can, but if you must, show people what you're made of.

14. Never forget where you came from and who you were.

15. Be yourself and never compromise it,

BUT

16. Never stop growing and improving, becoming a better version of yourself.

17. Learning languages enables me to care for people.

18. Our duty is mainly to them, but it's also to the people of earth.

19. This job isn't as easy as it might seem.

20. Always fight for what you think is right.

21. There's no shame in asking for help.

Note: Except on translating my rules! If you ask, you're missing the point.

22. Our powers are only tools to accomplish our goals.

23. It's okay to be angry, just don't be stupid at the same time.

24. Fighting isn't always the answer.

25. Never show your weaknesses around enemies.

26. Life isn't easy.

Note: I've seen so many things, fought so many threats... This life isn't easy. You're allowed to back out, but do it now if you must.

27. Don't give up without fighting for what you want.

28. Everything on this planet matters. From a blade of grass, to a tree, to the sky, to a child, to a CEO, to us, and most of all, them.

29. Don't take everything too seriously. Have fun too.

30. Ignore the odds.

31. Don't be so sure anything is impossible.

32. This isn't a game. It's real and what we do has consequences.

33. It's okay to be upset...it's okay to cry.

34. It's okay when people underestimate you... That's give you the advantage.

36. Don't forget your family. Spend as much time with them as you can.

Sadia set down her pen and sighed. She closed her eyes, trying to remember her family's faces... But she couldn't... She continued writing 500 more rules, sitting there for about 2 hours.

Finally, she sighed and put the list in an envelope, wrote Chloe Prince, and snapped her fingers, teleporting the list into their mailbox. She hoped Chloe could figure it out and learn them... Sadia really did want Chloe to succeed, but Chloe would have to work for it...
