My half mermaid, half human character that can go back and forth between mermaid and human. She hangs out with humans and merpeople.
She likes art, science, and trying to fit in everywhere and with everyone - which she'll learn soon enough isn't always possible.
As a mermaid, tail is a light blue and her hair is a firey red. Her eyes are blue like the ocean.
As a human, she's 5'4".

Kris West

My human character. He likes writing, and loves to think there's something more out there than just everyday life. He works at an icecream store after school.
His mom raised him all by herself until Henry came in the picture with his daughter, Jamie. Henry and his mom got married and had his little half sister, Rosanna - aka Rosie. Henry really helped Kris and his mom, but Kris doesn't like him or Jamie.
His best subject is english and he wants there to be something more than the everyday. He also loves the beach and surfing.
Jet black hair, 5'11". Hazel eyes.

Marina

My mermaid character. She loves hanging out with friends and is fascinated by the human world. She misses her half and half friends and somewhat envies their access to the world above, wishing she could be there too.
She likes watching people and often misses her friends. She also isn't afraid to break the no interacting with humans rule if she sees someone nice or in danger. She also doesn't like a lot of the mermen boys her age.
Has a beautiful purple tail and long golden blonde hair. Her eyes are a lighter blue, between an ocean blue and icy blue.
As a human, she's 5'1".

Kaleb

A merman who's the nephew of another council member. Unlike Marina, he's more set on the rules and hopes to be a council member himself one day. As one of the more 'refined' boys, Marina's mother wants them to be married one day. However... Marina doesn't. He easily earned his ring but rarely used it until Marina's mother gave him an assignment...
As a merman, he has a blue tail.
As a human, he's 6'1".
He has forrest green eyes and blonde hair.

Dorian

A human dood. He likes soccer. He lives with his grandma because of a bad family situation. He usually loves hanging out with people, but sometimes people that are different scare him because of his family. He loves his grandma and she loves him.
6', light blue eyes, and ginger hair.

Callie

She lives with her parents and is an only child. She enjoys surfing, which is how she and Kris met. She loves being with people and is usually sad when she's alone, being the only child in her family. Her parents are usually busy working so she doesn't get to spend a lot of time with them.
5'6", hazel eyes, and long, light brown hair

Caspian Stanley

Caspian is a rich young man with connections to the merpeople. He partners with them to protect their secret and image on the surface. With his sophisticated technology, he has learned a way to swim among the merpeople for long periods of time to meet with them and help them.
He met Kris when he was young, and they have been friends ever since.
He also is proficient with technology, and perhaps not someone you would want to cross.
