Nate stared at the mansion a few times. It was lit up on a level that almost amazed him. Rylee sat calmly with her hand handcuffed to a flagpole.

Nate slowly walked over. "You really did this? Are you sure you aren't covering for...Casey or Dayton? Or...literally anyone else?"
Nate doubted that such a sweet person could burn something like this - especially to this degree.
"No, Nathaniel. I confess, I did do this. But I did it to make a point," Rylee stated calmly. "Now, can you get this metal off of my hand?"
Nate blinked a few times and hesitantly undid her handcuffs done by a local police officer. "And that point would be...?"
"That they better give back my grandpa. No one was inside, the private owner is a business partner. I made sure to get any personal belongings such as pictures outside. All of the damage can be covered by their insurance. This will draw them out. If this is what I did, you don't want to see what Casey might do. So, if I don't draw the criminals out, I'll pay for all the damages personally. Deal?"
Nate blinked a few times then slowly nodded. "...deal. Now get out of here."
"I will," she said, pushing past him and walking off.
'That was for effect, sorry. They're watching.'
Nate sighed and kept working. Where could they possibly be hiding? She was right... Casey's method could end in the world blowing up. Nate hoped to avoid that at all costs... Rylee was free and walked back home while Nate stressed.

The fire continued burning, refusing to be put out by the firefighters. It burned to the ground before stopping.

Rylee now had his attention.
