"So there's a...'super ability'... You haven't told me this because?" the 'Leader' demanded with an eery calm.
"It didn't come up," Robert shrugged casually. "But honestly... I've never seen anyone pull it off before now, so good for her," he added.
The Leader's daughter rolled her eyes. "Ridiculous... Are you going to tell me anything useful or not?"
Robert raised an eyebrow. "Like?"
"How did powers originate?!" She demanded, stomping her foot impatiently.
"Taylor, calm yourself," the Leader warned.
"Oh, that... Is a long story-" Robert started.
"We have time," Taylor interrupted.
The Leader rolled their eyes. "Don't interrupt, Taylor. Continue, Robert."
Robert shrugged. "As I was saying, it was a long story... That unfortunately I can't tell without Whitney and Jamie."
"Why you-" Taylor began.
The Leader silenced the daughter with a single look. "Taylor, go."
Taylor crossed her arms and walked out. The Leader faced Robert for a moment then walked out. Taylor had been a valuable asset in creating drama for Julia throughout the now assistant's life as well as getting close to the director.. The minion, James, had also been useful, for example with Casey and kidnapping Julia... As well as handling Catherine and Timothy's blackmailing. It was only a matter of time before-... Well... Except for James's capture.
Speaking of his capture... The Leader shut off James's voice with their power so he couldn't betray her and then went off to work. While not overly useful, it certainly came in handy - especially with Taylor, much to the young woman's annoyance.
