The Real Reason Ender Was Evil

Ender was having fun on this new planet he and Val were sent to, spreading rumors about dragons so one day they could be accepted. As he was walking, he was suddenly on the moon. He looked around, confused. He didn't teleport intentionally... What happened?
Ian smirked from exile, managing to channel some more power through. Ian influenced Ender's mind to make him evil - to make Ender fear earth and its people and want to defend his sister by taking over.
Ender glared down at earth and teleported back. He trapped Valentina and hurt people. But before he could get too far, Nate took over and managed to trap both of them in the crystal. He didn't know what had gotten into Ender, but he had to stop him...

But after Ender escaped, Nate was supressed and became too depressed to intervene. So he didn't even bother trying, even though he disapproved.

After Ender became good again, Nate began to cheer up somewhat. When he met Arcadia and Soren, he began to act like himself again. When he got a body, he started to become himself again.

But he never could figure out what made Ender so awful for those 500 years...

...But little did they know, Ian had been responsible the entire time. It was never Ender's goal to take over earth. He liked earth and the people there - well, besides that guy Val liked 500 years ago... That royal...

Even Ender never fully understood his motivation to take over because Ian was the one who manipulated him.
