OCs 2 - the Sequel

Nebula and André

Nebula and André smiled as they watched the baby in Celeste's arms. Nebula hugged her dad - who was her favorite parent. Celeste just hugged her closely, sniffing. Celeste was very emotional this time. Little Aurora was precious and beautiful.
André grinned and then kissed her cheek. "You did it."
Celeste beamed and leaned on him, tired from the effort it had taken, but she handed the baby to him.
André smiled and held the baby close, kissing her head. Nebula leaned on her dad too, looking down at her baby sister. She was pretty adorable...

"Alright, time to chill out with my friends!" Nebula grinned, running downstairs and quickly eating breakfast. "Mom's been so naggy lately, so I can't wait."
André gave his teen a look, raising an eyebrow. "Now now, don't disrespect your mother, Nebula."
Nebula huffed. "Fine... Whatever. Anyways, Sydney's family owns the island, so we'll have it all to ourselves!"
Celeste walked in. "Morning! Have you finished packing?"
"Of course, mom. What do you think I am? 5?" Nebula replied, rolling her eyes.
Celeste sighed. "No... I just... I'll miss you."
"Right...anyway, it'll be so nice to finally have some quality time with my girls!" Nebula grinned.
André frowned at the interaction. "I hope you have fun, but... We both will miss you. And we both love you."
"I'll miss you too, dad," Nebula replied.
André gave her a look.
Nebula huffed. "Fine... And mom, I guess."
Celeste bit her lip. "Well... I'm going to see if Aurora is awake. Have fun, Nebula... I love you and I'll see you soon."
She then hurried out before she got upset.
Nebula shrugged and then noticed the look on her dad's face. "...What?"
André sighed. "Neb, I know sometimes you feel like she's annoying, but she's your mom and she loves you so much. If you're going to have that attitude, maybe you shouldn't go."
Nebula's eyes widened. "Dad!"
André was quiet for a moment. "...While you're gone, work on it, alright?"
Nebula sighed in defeat and huffed, grumbling, "You always take her side..."
"I don't have sides. I love all 3 of my girls," André said, kissing her head. "Now, you better go before you're late. I love you..."
"Love you too, dad," Nebula smiled slightly, hugging him before walking out.

A few months later...

Nebula was laughing when one of her friends walked in with wide eyes.
"Nebula, there's something you should know..." Sydney said hesitantly.
"Okay, what's up?" Nebula asked, not getting the big deal yet.
"It's about your dad... The... The Empire...he...gone..." Sydney stuttered.
Her other friends gasped and they all looked for a reaction. Her friends all knew her dad was very special to her.
Nebula was frozen. Her mom and dad together usually meant nothing could stand against them... Her dad...was gone... How could this be?

She passed out.

She didn't want to go home... It wouldn't ever be the same.
