The restless people hurried into the meeting as the city was evacuated. The director was afraid of this... The former director burst in and everyone silenced, taking their seats.
"This is not the Jacob Anderson I met or have monitored. Something... Something must have happened," he spoke calmly. "And before you make a rash decision... Try to stop him before you try to nuke him. Nuking him will only hurt others. He's... He's invincible."
"So what you're saying is... If we can't calm him down, he's basically an unstoppable Hulk?" Green asked.
The former director nodded. "Precisely."
"Not it!" Green yelled.
The director raised an eyebrow at the outburst before turning to his uncle. "What do you suggest?"
"I suggest letting the experts handle it. Let Charles, Steven, Casey, Rylee, Aspen, Brandon... His family... Let them handle it. Then we'll go from there," the former director advised.
The director nodded in response. "Understood..."
"But regardless on if we stop him or not... This will change the way powers are viewed forever. They...they might not want to live among an unstoppable, incredibly strong man anymore. What will we do then?" Silver asked.
The director sighed. "We'll figure that part out later, Agent Silver. Let's start with stopping him first..."
"I thought we were going to let Steven and Nate handle it?" Green asked.
"We are. But just in case they fail..." he trailed off.
Silver's eyes widened, but she nodded, hurrying out. They still had the machine they used on Catherine... The device Charles gave them. And if they must... They'd use it again.
