A scout named Zeran was part of the stealthy survey of earth before the princess got involved. He saw there was a life signature down in some sort of base and entered by blasting down the door. He had seen and stopped so much cruelty in his surveys... He didn't particularly even like earth, but whatever her majesty desired was done. He saw a man - definitely an older one by the looks of him. He scanned him and sent up the reading before walking over to the captive.
"Hello there, sir," the scout greeted. "Why the chains? Are you alright?"
"An evil man...has kept me here... Away from my family..." Robert replied.
Just then, he walked in. "So, Taylor got captured. Should've known better than to depend on- my my, who do we have here?"
"So you're an abuser of rybrospon... Why would they gift it to you?" the scout questioned.
"An abuser of rybrospon?" he scoffed. "No no, not quite, spy. I am a general under his majesty here to discover rybrospon's secrets through this stubborn old man."
The scout's eyes widened. "General Coleman... So this is where you've been."
"Please... Run off to your precious Genesis and tell her what you've learned. It will make this much more enjoyable," Coleman laughed.
The scout backed away slowly, scanned him, and then grabbed Robert, pressing the button to be beamed back up.
Coleman ran towards him and then scowled, realizing he lost his prisoner... The emperor would be displeased...very displeased. He narrowed his eyes and turned, walking out of the room.

Robert's eyes widened as he was now in a UFO of some sort...
"I ordered you on surveillance! Not to take captives!" Morag fussed. "Especially old men!"
"He was General Coleman's captive," Zeran explained, releasing Robert's restraints. "I found him and saved him."
"And now what are we supposed to do? Keep him?" Morag questioned, putting her hands on her hips.
The princess walked over. "What's the problem, Morag-? Oh dear... A human. As princess of the Kingdom of Haven, my deepest apologies for taking you from your planet..."
She curtsied, bowing her head in apology.
"Oh, no... It's quite alright. This young lad here saved me from Coleman," Robert replied, bowing in return.
"Coleman?" Princess Genesis questioned, eyes widened.
"He said he was there to discover rybrospon's secrets through this man..." Zeran glanced at Robert briefly. "And he was here under the Emperor, your majesty."
"I see..." Genesis frowned. "Thank you, Zeran. ...For the time being, I'd love to protect you from the Empire until we get this mess sorted out, if you will allow it."
"I would very much appreciate that, your majesty," Robert replied. "Thank you."
Genesis smiled and nodded. "My pleasure. Morag, please show him to the guest's quarters."
Morag nodded, bowing briefly. "As you wish, your majesty."
Genesis nodded and gave Robert one last smile before walking off.
Zeran went back to his job, thankful he wasn't in trouble thanks to the princess's compassion for the planet.
"So... What makes you so special to the empire?" Morag asked, beginning to walk. Robert followed. "Not entirely sure except the fact I discovered an artifact... A necklace which was composed of rybrospon. Before I was hunted down, I entrusted it to a teenager to guard... And from what little I've heard, I chose the right girl."
"So you know then...? A lot about rybrospon...?" Morag asked curiously.
"Oh, certainly. I've researched it for a long time... I suppose it's legendary among the stars?" Robert replied.
"Very legendary... There was a surge coming from earth... So the empire is here too. The Princess has no desire to take the rybrospon, but she definitely wants to defend it from the Emperor... In his hands, it's... Well, it's unthinkable. She also has a soft spot for earth, for whatever reason, so here we are," Morag explained.
Robert nodded. "So... The princess is in charge then?"
"Yes, she is. Her mother died when she was young and her father was destroyed in a battle against the empire... She refuses to take their title... Out of grief, I suppose..."
Robert nodded, frowning. "That's horrible... Why does the empire act so...awful?"
"They've been destroyers, conquerors, dominators... For centuries upon centuries. They always want...well...more," Morag explained, obviously annoyed by them.
Robert nodded slightly. "So you're the other major power then? The Kingdom of...what was it?"
"Haven. The Kingdom of Haven, yes," Morag confirmed before stopping and opening a door by pressing a button. "Well, I'm sure the princess will request your company for dinner, which will happen shortly, so have a good night, Mr. Johnson."
Robert walked in. "Thank you- ...wait how did you-?"
Morag smiled in amusement and walked off as the door shut. Humans...
Robert shrugged and looked around the room. Wow... All he could think about was that Casey would love this. He missed his precious granddaughters... But he'd see them soon enough.

Genesis began to pace in her quarters, trying to think. Aliens teaming up with humans? Cliche, unrealistic, or smart? She couldn't let them hurt more people... Not after what they did to her parents... She would defend these people as her own... And her scouts were already solving problems. Hopefully, the emperor wouldn't cause too much damage... For now, it was a waiting game. What would he order them to do? An invasion, stealth? She sighed and sat down, wishing her parents were still here. Her father would've known what to do... Was she really the right ruler for Haven?
