Rylee drank hot chocolate, sitting on the couch and turning on TV. A sci-fi movie came on, which was trying to replicate the 'superhumans' experience. One person who reminded her of herself a bit was holding her head and wincing. Her eyes widened. How did they...? It then snapped to a goofy girl and a moody, especially evil looking guy. As well as a girl flickering like a candle. Rylee rolled her eyes and turned it off.

Her mind began to wander a bit. Xaiver, Lucia, and Blane's emotions had been her own. They didn't ever physically put her in solitary except once...briefly. They made her stay in the room where she empathized with their loneliness and somewhat insanity of being alone. Their frusteration. Their pain. That's how they punished Rylee.

When she first met Charles, she was afraid. He was terrifying. The person who made them do all of this. Once time she called him out on it and his reply was, "Rylee, I only told them what to research."

Maybe that was so... But the agents pushed her so far with those empathy tests that it nearly completely broke her. Empathy could be brutal...and most agents had no mercy. Sometimes even taking what Charles said and going overboard. And no one knew except Brandon and Brooke. She often took the punishment for when they messed up too. Rylee didn't want them to feel the pain.

Rylee couldn't stand Charles for so long. Maybe he wasn't the one who did it to her, but he certainly set her up for the pain. And it took so long for her to forgive him. Sure, he expressed a defense once, but writing the letter where she thanked him... Was hard. But deep down inside, as she wrote the letter, she forgave him.

Rylee forgave him for something he never truly apologized for.

...but she was still furious with Quinn for taking her husband. That one was 100% inexcusable and made Rylee's empathetic borderline torture look like child's play. Rylee was not over it. And he also experimented on her sister! That wasn't gonna stand with Rylee... Not...a...chance.

Though not normally one for revenge, she made an exception. Hopefully, this wouldn't cause too much damage...
