Val teleported on the moon and popped her knuckles. "Well? I'm waiting."
Ian appeared and smirked. "Hello again. Oh, your boyfriend isn't with you this time?"
Val blinked a few times, crossing her arms. "I-he- ...he's not my boyfriend... But that's not the point, is it? You want revenge on me, don't you?"
"You exiled me for 500 years, little sister. Of course I do," Ian huffed, crossing his arms.
"And you stabbed Nate! What did you expect?!" Val yelled.
Ian was silent for a moment. "I expected you to cry and give up... But for once you somewhat used your full potential, Guardian. What happened to that?"
Val took a step back, holding her crystal. "Is this even about exiling you or is it about me being a guardian?"
"Both. You being the guardian just makes it convenient, since I have a bone to pick with you," Ian smirked.
"I've grown a lot since you last met me," Val glared. "And I won't let you threaten the earth."
"The earth? Who said anything about the earth? Is that your worst fear?" Ian scoffed. "You've really become narrow minded. You care too much for that worthless rock. No... You have the power to recreate Rybrospo and undo it all. So why don't you?!"
"Because everything has its time!" Val shouted. "I couldn't intervene. Dad said it was destiny! It was time to move beyond our isolation and go out into the galaxies."
Ian chuckled lowly, crossing his arms. "If you really cared, you would've stopped everything." He narrowed his eyes. "People almost died because of our dear sister, yet you played the weak card. Why don't you smite them?! Why don't you just give in to the power?!"
Val took a deep breath, closing her eyes. "You want me to use my power and smite someone?"
He resisted the urge to smirk and nodded. "I do."
Val kicked off of the ground and opened her eyes, which were now black and her hair slowly changed to match.
"Then I will avenge Nate," she said lowly, with a different voice.
The wind began to blow intensely, making it hard to see. In seconds, the wind vanished and suddenly it became eerily chilly, almost like a fall day. In all black with eyes and hair to match, she touched the ground again, throwing out her hand towards Ian.
"You've angered me, fool," Val spoke, holding him deadly still, almost like a statue. "I don't see why you wanted me angry... Bad things happen when I'm mad, brother."
"I...noticed..." he choked out along with a weak chuckle. "Why do...you hide...?"
"Because I'm not always this way..." Val glared.
"Yes...you are...guardian... Go on...do it..." Ian challenged.
Val began to clench her fist, crushing him. He groaned, squeezing his eyes shut. She smirked slightly then snapped out of it. She immediately relaxed her hand and dropped him, turning away and sighing, crossing her arms.
"You can't hide the dark person you are, Valentina," Ian coughed, standing. "And neither can I."
He blasted her with energy beams.
Val fell forward and went back to her fake appearance. "AH!"
"See? Weak, pathetic... I should've been the guardian. Well, really, anyone except you. You're weak. And when you do use your powers, you're too weak to finish it off."
Val teleported up, facing him. "I don't want to hurt you! You're my brother."
"Who you didn't mind exiling for 500 years," Ian added with a scoff, blasting her again.
Val shakily threw up a shield, which broke and threw her backwards.
"You always were weak between shifts. Pathetic," Ian chuckled, blasting her again. She whimpered and just lied there, barely conscious.
"Ian, stop!" Nate yelled.
Ian's eyes widened briefly then he turned around. "Well, well, well... Nate got his body back. Good for you, little brother."
Nate narrowed his eyes. "Leave her alone, Ian."
"You always were her favorite," Ian chuckled, blasting energy at him.
Nate opened a portal in front of himself and another behind Ian. The energy hit Ian in the back, throwing him through the portal in front of Nate and then he fell on his face. Nate grinned and closed the portals.
Ian chuckled, standing and brushing himself off. "Nice magic trick, Nate."
Nate blinked a few times. "Thanks...?"
"However... I'd love to see you try to block this!" Ian smirked, slamming him forwards into the moon over and over until he was unconscious and his crystal was cracked.
"Too easy," Ian sighed. "Anyways, time for the finishing touch."
He yanked Val's necklace from her neck and put it in his pocket. He teleported both of them to him and held them, teleporting to go rub in his victory to Val's boyfriend for a finishing touch.
