Julia stared longingly out the window, a cup of tea in her hands. Her hands shook slightly and she set it down, deep in thought. 3 more months... 3. Whole. More. Months.

Julia began to feel like a prisoner. She missed the little social contact she had during the day and the work she had done.
She glanced down at her stomach and sighed. "I love you, Adelyn... But please come soon..."
Julia left her tea behind, now forgotten, and sat down on the couch.

She looked at her phone and sighed. She messed up her best chance to be successful. She lost her inheritance. She lost her status in the business world. She lost her people. And only to become a secretary... And now she was completely outside of her former world because of pregnancy...

She teared up. She felt like she was a waste of potential and name. She picked up her phone and called her dad, beginning to cry.
"Hello?" AJ asked.
"No wonder you hate me and don't love me anymore... I'm the worst," Julia sobbed.
AJ blinked a few times. "I don't hate you, Julia-"
"But you don't love me! You said I let you down and...and..."
She just cried more.
AJ blinked slowly a few times, intimidated. Someone was moody...
"Julia, I love you. You let me down, but I still love you... You're my daughter."
Julia sniffed. "R-really...?"
"Really," he promised. "As a CEO, disappointed. But as a dad... I love you. And I always will. Now what's wrong?"
Julia sighed and wiped away her tears. "I just feel like I'm not important anymore... Like I'm trapped and alone."
"I see... How would you like to come with me somewhere? I'll send a car over."
Julia thought for a moment then nodded. "Okay..."
"Cya soon, Julie."
He hung up and she then cried briefly that he hung up first. She sniffed and wiped her tears away again, waiting for the car.

Julia walked in her dad's office and sat down across from him.
"Let me reintroduce you to the world of business and prestige that my little girl deserves. In exchange, you can reconsider your employment. Deal?" AJ said.
Julia smiled slightly, excited at the thought, and half heartedly nodded her agreement.

AJ and Julia spent the day together. Julia learned, talked, and watched him work.
"This could be yours," AJ commented.
"I'll think about it... It's tempting."
"It should be considering you were born to be a leader, not an assistant. Now let's get you home."
He then drove her home. When she got there, she hugged him and they exchanged their goodbyes. Not long after, another one of his cars brought Chloe home for her. Julia was, at least for now, somewhat tempted. She missed going with her father all over, meeting people...
