Cadence held her baby girl, Valentina, closely. Val giggled and grabbed her mother's hair, playing with it. Rosalina floated inside the room, giggling, and landed beside her mom. Ian followed, barely floating, and fell beside the couch, pouting. Rosa giggled and helped him up, causing Ian to also giggle and hug her.
"Hi Ian, hey Rosa," Cadence smiled, ruffling their hair.
They both grinned up at her with the same smile. Nate waddled in, chasing Ender, who squeled and climbed up, hiding behind Cadence.
Nate pouted, unable to climb up too. Ian laughed at him and Cadence gave him a look before picking Nate up.
"Now now, be nice to your little brother, Ian," Cadence said firmly, ruffling his hair.
Ian pouted, crossing his arms. He looked over and his eyes widened. "Mommy, her eyes!"
Cadence smiled, shaking her head. "Ian, sweetie... It's alright. Her eyes are just unique."
Ian frowned and moved behind Rosa, who just looked down at her with a smile.
"Well, children, it's time to go meet your father," Cadence stated, gently taking Valentina back.
Ender grinned and hopped off the couch. "Yay!"
Ian and Rosa ran after him while Cadence picked up Val and Nate before following.

Cadence sat down beside her husband, Gregory. The kids all hugged their father before sitting down - besides Val. Val stayed snuggled up to her mother, quiet. Everyone else was talking until the council stood.
"Today, we come together to introduce Cadence and Gregory Ramira's baby girl, Valentina!" the council member said.
Cadence beamed and stood, walking over and handing her to the Prime.
Prime held her, then his eyes widened. Black eyes meant...
"This baby girl is extremely special. Finally, a Guardian has appeared!" Prime announced.
It was good news to some, but also very frightening to others. People's eyes widened and they exchanged looks. Cadence frowned at the reaction. Valentina would be a good guardian... And before any of that, that little girl was her baby.
Prime held her up and the rest of the council began to clap. The rest of the crowd began to clap slowly, unsure about the whole thing.
Prime lowered her, holding her normally again, and smiled down at her. "You will be amazing, Valentina Juliann."
Val just stared up at him with her eccentric eyes, quiet. Prime waved Cadence up and handed the baby back to her.
"The House of Ramira has brought honor on themselves through having the honor to have this child," Prime announced.
He then closed his eyes and stretched out his hands, making the magical rybrospon fill the air like wind before giving it to Valentina.
"Her heart and mind is now blessed with rybrospon," Prime stated. "The dedication is complete, thank you for your time."
Everyone began to murmur as they left. Cadence began to walk back over.
"Good luck with that one, Cadence."
"Keep her under control, alright?"
"Of course you're the one who had a Guardian..."
"Look at her eyes!"
Cadence closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath then walked back over to her family.
Ian was quiet, eyeing Valentina; Rosa grinned, proud of her sister; Ender was smiling; and Nate was asleep.
"Time to go home," Greg said, picking up Nate. "Let's go, kids."
They all headed home. Cadence carried her baby girl, who was now asleep. A guardian...? How was she supposed to raise a guardian? She didn't want Val to be judged and ridiculed just because of her eyes or her label. Cadence was upset that people were talking about her baby girl, but she could understand why. Once Val grew up, she'd really be something. Hopefully, a good something.
