Grace fell asleep leaning on Soren, and her creative mind began to wander...

Soren stood in front of a calendar. Years, centuries, thousands of years... They passed. They never stopped.

Then, it transitioned to her standing in front of a calendar a bit away. It started 19 years ago and only a few years passed by in comparison. Then, the pages stopped turning and she faded away. But Soren's calendar was still going.

The calendars faded away and she was standing in front of Arcadia and Hayes. They were yelling at Soren, trying to make him realize that she would barely last a moment of his lifetime. She was a speck in his existance that would fade away too quickly.

Grace saw herself and Soren. He said he couldn't be with someone so weak and human. He sent her away, back to her parents - the people who always tore her down. He didn't speak to her ever again... He realized she wasn't enough. She never would be.

She saw herself, crying in her room alone. She tried to muffle her sobs so her parents wouldn't yell at her again.

She couldn't tell anyone what had happened to her. She had to protect his secret, but no one would ever understand the pain she had felt when he realized how human she was...the pain when he cast her aside like she was nothing... When he stopped believing in her.

She had felt so much love for him. She knew she'd never be good enough for him, but he made her feel loved, and special... She loved him so much, but she wasn't good enough for him.

She saw herself, weak and old. In a rest home, alone... Day after day passed until she faded away...

...But he was still going.

Her life felt empty, her beautiful smile faded away... She could never look up at the clouds the same way. Because he had been the light in her life, but she became nothing again when he cast her aside.

Grace woke up and fell off the couch because she wanted to escape the dream. She would understand if it came true, but that didn't mean it would hurt any less.
