As Stanley read from his Torah, he stopped. His face was serious, his jaw clenched tight. His father laid a hand on his son's shoulder.

"Stanley. Keep going."

Stanley's eyes raised to the crowd. His eyes landed on the one person that always made him smile, yet he couldn't. Y/N wore confusion on her face, eyebrows furrowed. He had never been like this in front of her. He had always been the kind and thoughtful Jewish boy. Stanley kept his eyes on Y/N as he descended the stairs and walked towards her as she stood to her feet instantly, and instantly, he cupped her face in his hands and kissed her sweetly. Everybody seemed in shock or happiness of what happened so fast. Stanley's parents, mostly shock. They pulled away from each other with huge grins from ear to ear on their faces and Y/N let out a small giggle.

"I've been wanting to do that for the longest time now," Stanley whispered.

"I've wanted you to do that for the longest time."

"You have no idea how important you are to me Y/N L/N."

"More important than becoming a 'real' man?" Y/N questioned.

"You're more important than becoming a man."
