Eddie Kaspbrak has had enough.
The puddle of blood surrounded her body so much that Eddie couldn't get close enough. He couldn't get to her just because of the images in his head. The knife slicing into her stomach, the screams rising from her throat and the evil grin Henry Bowers wore as he tore Eddie's girlfriend apart. Her features on her face were the same yet her skin was pale, as she it had been twenty minutes since her heart gave up. The ambulances sounded in the back of Eddie's mind as his tears had finally stopped. He couldn't feel anything anymore. The paramedics, the police officers, they all surrounded the scene. Even Mrs Kaspbrak turned up, holding her son's face as she panicked herself.
"Did anybody hurt you Eddie Bear? Did you get any blood on you? Did you touch her? Tell me you didn't touch her."
Eddie didn't answer, just watched as a white sheet quickly turned crimson red as it was draped over top of her. And in that moment, Eddie Kaspbrak had a feeling of revenge. Like he wanted Henry Bowers dead more than ever. Like he wanted to kill him himself.
